RE: Bosco/Bosko family
Hi Dick - thank you very much for the great headstone photos of Pete & Kate & for letting me know that you did not see a marker for their daughter Catherine.

Appreciate all that you do!

Other lastnames
A few second ago I found memorial of your other great grandmother, Maria Bonk Osiowy. You wrote that her parents lastnames were "Bonk" and "Niemczuk". Do you know where they were born? Because these lastnames sound familiar. I think that somebody could made "Bonk" from "Bąk" and "Niemczuk" from "Niemczak". There are a few people with these lastnames in Markowa and around Markowa.

RE: Inglot family
Yeah, now I know that the Markowa of your ancestors is definetly my home village. It's quite obvious that your ancestors changed the spelling of their lastname, "Englot" is way easier to pronounce for native english speakers.
There are about more than 1800 people with lastname "Inglot" in Poland nowadays but definetly most of them are setted in subcarpathian voivodship (where Rzeszˇw, Łańcut and Markowa are). I'm gonna leave you a link to the map, if you want to check this by yourself:
I'm afraid that I'm not able to give you more informations about your far relatives who could possibly still live in Markowa because it quite big village nowadays (more than 4100 people). Do you know anything about your family members (maybe your great grandmother parents or her siblings?) who stayed in Poland when she left? Or maybe you know some other lastnames than "Inglot" and "Gala" of your family members? I'm asking because my grandparents family is very big in Markowa and have "blood connetions" with a lot of Markowa inhabitants.
If you have any questions I will do my best to give you as much informations as I could. :)

Inglot family
Hi, my name is Carolina and I want to leave you this message because just a few minutes ago I've seen memorial of your great grandmother Aniela "Nellie" Englot Krupski who, as you wrote, was born in Markowa, Galicia, Austro - Hungarian Empire, now Markowa Poland. All this because I live in this village since I was born, my family lives there since our eldest known ancestors. In all Poland there are two villages called "Markowa" but there is only one which belonged to Austro-Hungarian Empire so it has to be my village.
In Markowa there are still people which lastnames "Inglot" or "Gala", these are very old lastnames in Markowa. "Inglot" is more popular than "Gala".
I'm writing this only to let you know that... Oh my god, I went so excited when I discovered your great grandmother memorial on this page! I knew that before world war I a lot of people left Markowa but I would never dare to think that during checking some memorial just for fun I will find someone who was born here, in Markowa, where I'm sitting now with my computer!
My ancestors, who would maybe know your ancestors are long time dead, and probably I'm not able to give you any informations if you would have any questions but... I just wanted to let you know that I was so surprised. :)

RE: Haas family

Thanks for the transfer. I have updated all the records with the additional information I had and all the ten Haas children are now listed together under their parents.

I did see there is one more record that was not transferred: George N. Vernon # 52928025 / husband of Amy May Haas

That should complete them.

Thanks again.
