I was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating from college in 1970, I entered the United States Air Force. Durning my military service I was stationed in California, Florida, Colorado, Guam, Turkey and Germany. I retired from the service in 1991 and am currently living in northern California. I then worked for California Indian Manpower Consortium, Placer County Courts and the City of Lincoln for 15 years before retiring again in 2010.|
I am married and I have 2 grown children. I am now a grandfather of 3 (2 girls and one boy).
I've always had an interest in geneology, but I just began documenting my family tree in 2010.

Hello there. It looks like your wife and I are cousins. John Hulslander is also my 5th grandfather. :)

|St Georges Archivist||John George Roush|
Hi! Seems he was my 4th Great Grand Uncle...in the great collection of Johns and George's in that family. It has been fun piecing my grandfather's family together (Charles Bartlett Roush). One of these days I will have to go to a Roush reunion.

Hi! I am always happy to transfer memorials over to closer family members.
Best wishes, Dana
|Mike Cronk||RE: Grave Site Photos|
I was more than happy to take those photos for you. Taking photos for 'Find A Grave' is a leisure time activity for me. It helps me to unwind.
My dad's family came from Barry Co. I have three sets of 3x-gr-grandparents (Meloy, Lewis, Cronk) buried in Hastings...one of those sets being buried in Hastings Twp. Cemetery.
At any rate, taking photos of the various gravestones and posting them on 'Find A Grave' is a very satisfying activity for me. I'm glad I could help.
Grand Rapids, MI
P.S. In one of my family lines, I have an aunt by marriage, Marietta (Rogers) Cronk, who was the daughter of Niles Rogers and Susan Rose. SUSAN (ROSE) ROGERS (1831-1911) is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Vermontville. Is she any relation to you? In the 1850 U.S. Census, Susan was living in Parish, Oswego Co., NY, the dau. of MAJOR & SALLY ANN ROSE.

I just noticed that I had a request from you. That is the entire obituary of Andrew Roush. I wish there was more.

He was my sister's 6th great grandfather too. I saw your flowers on his memorial.
|Norman R. Brown||William Belcher|
Thanks for the birth date for William. Are you related, also?
|slay||Irving and Samantha Rose|
You indicate you are descended from Irving and Samantha Rose buried in Hastings, Mich. Do you know anything about Irving's mother, Anna Barber Rose? My wife is a descendant of one of Anna's brothers and I am interested in their ancestry.

I added the photos that you sent me to the memorials. Let me know if you would like the memorials of Henry & Ella (Long) Booker transferred over to you.
