Bio Photo I have always been interested in cemeteries. I have especially enjoyed finding graves with pictures of the deceased. There are several major cemeteries along with countless small cemeteries in Austin Area. I'll do my best on fulfilling your photo request.

San Vicente Cemetery
To find the San Vicente cemetery you exit Interstate 69E (also US Highway 77) just north of Harlingen at Combes, TX to State Highway 508 and head east toward Rio Hondo. As you approach Rio Hondo the higway will have some curves and then change to 106 and pass over the draw bridge and through the town of Rio Hondo. On the eastern edge of the town you will pass the new high school. After you pass the high school you go about 3 miles on 106 and the San Vicente #1 cemetery is on the right (south) side of the road. There is another larger cemetery on down the road about another mile, also on the south side of the road, at the intersection with higway 803 that I think is referred to as San Vicente # 2.

Hello Juan
Thanks for the message. Perfectly understandable to want to keep your memorial. I think now you have moved him to Normandy American Cemetery more people will see your page and acknowledge a very brave soldier who died at such a young age. He is laid to rest in a most beautiful place above Omaha beach. When I visit there again I will go and pay my respects.
Kind regards
Carol ( from Hampshire in England)

RE: Thank you Art
No problem.

Is this a relative?? Would you like the management transfered to you?

If not, do you have any dates, or know "about" when he died, so I can do some research on that??

We have photographed ALL of the headstones in San Benito Cemetery, and getting the names uploaded, and then will go back and upload all of those photos. Should be completed in a few months.
