Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my family history since 2007. To my surprise and delight, I've been able to locate the burial locations of many family ancestors for several generations back. I wouldn't have thought this would be remotely possible when I first started.

My main focus is on my Kenyon paternal ancestors, who migrated to New York State shortly after the American Revolution, then migrated westward to finally reach California shortly after the turn of the century, circa 1904.

DNA Testing:

Y-DNA helped me identify my Kenyon paternal family line.

The testing was done with Family Tree DNA, where I am the co-administrator of the Kenyon Project.

Photo Requests:

Thank you to all of the volunteers who have taken the headstone photos for me. I really, really appreciate the work you do. Almost all of my photo requests are for my direct line family, a collateral line, or surname I am tracking or studying.

Seeing a photo of the headstone for a great great grandparent brings waves of emotion.

I download many of the photos onto Ancestry.com, giving credit to the photographer.

I am very happy to make transfers to direct and collateral line ancestors, unless I have some personal attachment to the memorial page. Just ask.

I try to be very careful with the information provided on memorial pages I create. Occasionally, I discover that I have made an error. If you see something that is incorrect, let me know. You can use the edit link to send me an email. That is the best way, because it will link me to the page you are referring to.

By the way, if I have made duplications, please let me know.

Thank you,

Marilyn Kenyon, PsyD.

I was unable to find a marker for Harry, however, I did take a photo of the parents.

RE: Aressa M Kingman Edson
You are quite welcome! We just added a nickname to the listing, based on an entry in Ezra Stevens' "Early History of the Town of Milford" (published in 1903), wherein he notes that "Damond (SIC) married Tesse Kingman and still remains on the old farm."

RE: Oscar Kenyon
Ok I could read Nov 27 182? to May 12 1904 which matches Oscar but I couldn't read his name on it. So my guess is 95 % likely this is the right one now. Sorry for all the confusion on my part. I believe I finally found the right one. That's the problem with taking 4000 pictures and some of them being hard to read due to age or the marker just not photographing well.

RE: Oscar Kenyon
I found a few Kenyon's but it's really hard to read. I'll upload them to the cemetery in Iowa where they are and the same one as Oscar. So if you do a search on the same cemetery as Oscar you can see them. One might be for Oscar as well I'll zoom in on them and try to read them better if I can.
