RE: IPC
No, actually, the person who designed the webpage is an Office Administrator who gives out locations to us all the time via e-mail. They are very nice and helpful to the point of going overboard sometimes. I know it says they will charge for photos, but twice now I've had them take the photo for me when the marker was an up-high niche in a dark corner of a mausoleum. They know that I am putting them on Find A Grave and I do have their permission. I have even asked them if there was a charge and they said no.

So I'm not sure why they have that on the website. It was re-designed several years ago. It was nice to have the inclusion of the maps, because when I first started, I had to go into the office every time I needed a map.

At first I thought they were nice because I am a customer of theirs, but I think they are that way to everyone.

Some of us have had to have gravestones literally unburied from up to 10 inches, and they never complain about doing it.

My Mom grew up (halfway) in Inglewood, went to Inglewood High, etc. and I have lived here and in the vicinity all of my life, so IPC is special to me. I bought my Mom a niche in the old Mausoleum and I have a crypt in Sunset Mission.

Best regards,
B.J.

RE: Claudia Walne
I just heard back from Sunset View and they tell me that Claudia McCann is buried in an unmarked grave next to her husband, in Palm 3 Section, Row 33, Grave 3. Rev. E N Walne is in Grave 4. Thank You for calling this to my attention. Bill

Claudia Walne
How extraordinary. I've met some of her descendants and sent them links to the site, and they didn't say it was in error, and perhaps they didn't know. I will hold off making changes until I can get better information. Please keep me apprised if you learn anything more, and I will do the same. I had thought to contact a California veteran's group or women's veteran group, hoping to inspire them to do something special with the daughter's unmarked grave, but I haven't done anything so far. The daughter's cremated remains are in her father's grave. It may be that Claudia's remains were likewise cremated and interred the same way. Thanks for letting me know.

Haha! You sure can find 'em, eh? I've added the bio info. Thanks. I'm never too busy for you, Bernard. I welcome all of the information and stories you have told regarding funeral directors.

Take care,

RE: Union Cemetery
Bernard,

The names on the vaults are (left) Arthur Karpe and (right) Adelaide Karpe. Although in the picture on the website the sarcophagi appear to be sitting in front of The Last Supper, in actuality, they ARE its base. If you go to each of their memorial pages now, you will find pictures. The ones with the flowers in the urns are the ones I uploaded today. Hope this helps.

I'll be Stockton this afternoon, tell me which you are looking for and I'll give it a shot. Remember, they may not be the best quality, as I'll be taking them through glass doors.

RE: Sinnott-Weber
Bernard,
It's been a while since I visited the Weber Crypt, but I believe that there are possibly six to eight inside. 3 to 4 on both the north & south sides of the crypt, with glass entrance doors on the east & west sides. As far as, the pictures go, I either forgot to attach them to some of their memorial pages or I didn't take them, since it's difficult to get clear shots on the inside of the crypt itself. The outside, I do have many pictures of.
