Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife and I love taking photos around St Clair & Sanilac Counties. We've found the graves of several of our own relatives while fulfilling photo requests, so it's a win-win situation.

Surnames we are researching include McCallum, Baker, Black, Cole, Keltner, & Ravin. If one of our memorials is a relative of yours, we would love to hear from you.

Sanilac Death Records
Hello there,

I've sent you quite a few death records, for memorials that you manage that do not have specific death dates. I didn't use the edit option for those dates. I just went ahead with the "Suggest any other correction or addition" option, as there were so many.

Lohr family
I see Basil and Russell Lohr listed around the Clair Sanilac area. These are two names of children that would go with John Godfreed Lohr (he went by Fred) and May Jane Kinneer Lohr as parents. Both died in St. Clair but I am unable to find a listing of them in Find A Grave. John died 1 Feb 1946, Port Huron, St. Clair, Michigan and Mary Jane died 14 may 1942 in St. Clair. Mary Jane is a 1/2 sister to my grandmother. Do you know any more about this family?
Thank you, Catherine

William Morden
? Family relation
Hi, My name is Wm. J. Morden. My wife and I were just looking at her dad's (Glenn E. Lashbrook's #42812785) find a grave site and noticed your name as having taken the picture of her parents grave stone. First of all thank you. Second, we wondered if we could be related. My great grandfather Joseph Morden had a sister named Phoebe McCallum and I remember stopping at the home of an Ed McCallum in Marysville when I was a kid. Ed was building a Doll type house that years later ended up on display in Marysville park. Probably a long shot.

RE: Delphine McCallum
HI I found some more clues. Jack McCalmon is buried at the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ft Gratiot. His wife was Delphine Reed McCalmom.
I discovered that they spell their last name differently. Mc Calmon then you do. I guess I saw that you had taken the photo of the sign for the Sunset and jumped to being part of her family. Close but not right. Unless you know of a name change I guess it's the wrong family.
Thanks for your reply. If you could take a photo of their stone I'd appreciate it. I don't think she is on Find A Grave but he is. she was a distant cousin in our family. Thanks.

RE: Mt Zion
Its a puzzle for sure.. I saw your relatives stones at mt zion.. I learned of a new technique to bring out old inscriptions I want to use on a few older stones ..plain white flour.. rub it in liberally and it really brings out the inscriptions where you wouldn't think you could...and its safe and washes away in the rain..
maybe we will cross paths someday... happy hunting, keith
