Are you a relative of the Nurnbergs buried in queens and thereabouts? My husband is a Nurnberg, and I have been researching his family. Clytie
|Our Family Graves||RE: James & Clara Lee|
Thank you for your message! And, yes, thank you for adding our family's graves. We do visit the graves in person, too!
I completely understand that you are not logged in every day. It was also my visit with family for the holidays that prompted the messages when I pointed out to my father that these graves were now online. My father was especially anxious and agitated about the transfer, not totally accepting (not understanding) that your having added them to Find A Grave wasn't some violation of his rights of some kind ("Who gave anyone permission to put them on there?" etc.). I have done my best to explain to him that you aren't somehow "claiming" those graves as though they were your own dad and grandparents. I am also following your suggestion and setting him up with an account of his own (although in all honesty he will probably just call me to update them, add info).
As to the relationships, you transferred my father's grandparents (my great-grandparents) to my account: James and Clara. James Jr. is my father's father (my paternal grandfather). And my father (and definitely I, as well) hope you will also transfer this grandfather of mine and my father's two aunts with their husbands (my great-aunts and great-uncles). I will let my father put through the transfer requests.
From my own perspective, the remaining graves are:
My paternal grandfather James Jr.
My great-aunt (my paternal grandfather's sister) Clara Rodgers (my dad lived with them--basically his adoptive parents--after his own dad, my grandfather, died)
My great-aunt (my paternal grandfather's sister) Rosamond "Aunt Rosie" Heroy
My great-uncle (my paternal grandfather's brother-in-law) Oliver Rodgers
My great-uncle (my paternal grandfather's brother-in-law) "Uncle Bill" Heroy
My first cousin, once removed (or my dad's first cousin) (Oliver Jr.) Livingston "Skip" and/or "Liv" Rodgers (he was effectively my dad's adoptive brother as well as being his first cousin)
After setting him up, I will walk my father through new SAC transfer requests per your recommendation. Thank you again, a2!

Sims cemetery, Edgar County, Illinois.
I already have my great grandparents entered with all their people linked.
Could you please delete the duplicate to them. The other one is John Steve Neal.
|Our Family Graves||Request for transfer of our family|
My dad wrote you on December 22 and I left a message for you about a week back.
A couple months ago you created memorials below.
These are my grandfather and great-grandparents and two of their children's families (my dad, who shares this account with me, they are his own dad and grandparents, two aunts, and a first cousin). Since you put our immediate family on here could you please transfer them? Thank you.

|DCDavis||Ruth Seeley Warner|
Ruth Warner's memorial page (#66162456) is a duplicate, as there already is a Ruth Seeley Davis in Whitneyville Cemetery, and that's the name on her grave.
Wishing you a happy new year!

"N" stands for "NATO" which means "born", it indicates the person's maiden name.
Thank you and have a good 2017!
|Our Family Graves||Transfer requests for immediate family members you recently added|
Hi, could you look for my edit requests to transfer my grandparents, great-grandparents, and two great-aunts with their husbands to me please? They are all buried together in our family plot and you just recently added memorials and photos of their graves. This is my immediate family and I would like to maintain and add to their memorials, thank you.
So that you can find them easily, you should have a series of requests that were sent on December 22.

Let me know if you need anything further from me to proceed. Thank you for your outstanding contribution to Find a Grave!

|m.g.||RE: Help with Find a Grave|
Thanks, as I think I told you earlier. I have tried unsuccessfully to find them before. I have read where different ones have posted different things pertaining to the guidelines, but that is all I knew of them (what I learned from reading other peoples post). Thanks again, m.g.

Hello again, I have looked for the guide lines, but I must be looking in the wrong place? could you tell me exactly where they can be found? Thanks, m.g.
