Winter this year has been harsh (I actually like it). But it has kept me from my rounds. I tried to finish up my project of trying to photograph most of the Prospect and Trinity cemeteries, among others, but the snow overtops my boots (knee high) and I only fell down twice. I don't want to kill my camera! Bear with me, thank you.
***Absolutely feel free to post the pics I take wherever you wish. I do this for you. ****
I stay in the "burbs" in New Haven County, and some Fairfield County. Please note: Bridgeport cemeteries located at or south of Route 1 (Boston Post Road)are simply too dangerous. Too many questionable characters. I do like the challenge of an older stone, so if it's there I will do all I can to find it.

Thank you for all of the information you left on my public message board regarding Joseph Moss and Old Derby Uptown Burying Ground. I will send an email to the Derby historical Society tomorrow to see if I can confirm Joseph's burial her.

Thanks Alycia! yours, Jeff
Thank you so much for trying to locate this gravestone. Too bad it has been lost to time.

The photo of the grave marker you posted for Caleb Merriman
Find A Grave Memorial# 33942938
appears to be the wrong person. The memorial is for a Caleb Merriman that died in 1703 and the marker is for a Caleb Merriman that died in 1770

Thanks so much for filling my photo request. I can see that you did the best you could with a difficult headstone. Did you by any chance write down an inscription of the stone? I can make out the last few lines, but that's it. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the front view of my great- grandfather's gravestone. Jane Preston

Thank you, Alycia, for going out in the bad weather this winter to take this photo. You have given me and a fellow researcher a new clue for the Little family. We never knew Bridget's maiden name, and, thankfully, whoever erected the stone made sure it was not forgotten.
So, thank you again for volunteering for Find A Grave. I love this web site.
