Bio Photo There is a word for men that lose their wives, wives that lose their husbands, children that lose their parents.

There is no word for a mother who loses her child...

If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, don't hesitate to request a transfer.

Any photo I have posted on Find a Grave is intended to be used.... Please feel free to use them in personal use and documentation.

Searching means finding the other entry, even though it may contain an error and working together means sending an edit.

Links, Corrections, Transfers and/or additional information
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.

Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.

Lastly and most importantly
There are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

- Hunter S. Thompson

Have Paws will travel !
If he had explained about being worn we would have accepted that rather than post a message to the request.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 72468565
I have been to this grave twice to take a picture and the requestor each time asks me to remove the picture and wants a better picture. I have tried contacting the requestor but he/she does not allow messages through Find a Grave. The picture I took is still posted on find a grave. I have not removed it. It is readable. The stone is worn and since it does not have painted lettering and the depth of the lettering is minimal it is not as clear as one would hope. Taking more pictures will not change that fact. If you still want to try to take a better picture go ahead. Just go directly to the memorial and submit your photo. If it is better, let me know, then I will delete mine. I just wanted to post a warning so people don't keep retaking a picture that may never satisfy the requestor.

Dear Linda,
Thank you for visiting my dad, who passed away on July 9th. I miss him so much, again I feel like so many of the people on this site who have lost loved ones and, yes, it does seem to help me to be able to visit my father's site and leave him a note every few days. Take care.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the gravestone photo. I can't find a grave anywhere and his body was never recovered.

That's why I put (IMO)BNR. As far as it being a
cenotaph, I don't know how to do that, unless Find A Grave does.

Thank you,
