|Bio and Links|
Genealogy and cemeteries are a passion to me and I love helping to contribute to others looking for their ancestors. I will take pictures for anyone who needs them. Currently I am researching the following names (and a few hundred others): Mangus, Manges, Mangis, Garst, Showalter, Meredith, Woodruff, Miller, Owen, Owens, Eddings, Pearson, Mathews, Matthews, Kraus, Petty, Claiborne, Berry, Benbrook, Webb, Jones, Engle(s), Taylor, Arnold - and the list goes on. If you are interested in these names - please get in touch with me. Have taken pictures from Virginia to Washington State - that I have yet to post. Also, any pictures I take can be sent in original size - just ask. Will help find things and take pictures within a 150 mile radius, or where ever I might be.|
Please follow the rules of find-a-grave when requesting transfers and make requests thru the "edit/suggestion" portion of the memorial.
DO NOT leave bio information in the "Flowers and Notes" section. Send information to me and I will add it - giving you credit.
STRANGERS IN THE BOX
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like,
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, or when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be passed away?
Make time to save your stories,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.

Thank-You Deb for linking Jessie to her parents.I just had 5 DeHaan memorials transferred to me yesterday so I spent a "few" hours researching & adding information & or pictures but still have a long way to go.
It is all a labor of love for me as I'm not only doing it for my daughter & grandson,I'm also doing it for future generations as well.

No, sorry, but I'm still working on this line.
I'll be sure and let you know if I do find her.
Also, I just came across William FRANK's parents,
so I'll be sending you a request to link them.
Thank you for your time and help.
Again, I'll let you know if I ever do find Allen's mom.

|Ronnie & Marjeana||Webb in Arkansas|
Hi. My name is Marjeana Rains Taylor #48248758. Are you related to the Webbs in the Union Cemetery, Fulton County, Arkansas? Specifically John Webb and his children Enoch Webb married to Sarah Rains & Belle Webb Rains married to John Rains. Enoch & Sarah Webb were brother and sister. They married a Rains brother and sister, Sarah and John Rains. My Dad always said the Rainses and Webbs were double cousins. John and Belle Webb Rains are my Great Grandparents. Her name was actually Margaret Belle, but every one called her Belle.

Was you ever able to go take a peek @ the pictures I posted for you on some of the Meredith & DeHaan family memorials ? If so...what did you think ?

Thank you for such a prompt response! Thank you so much for linking my great grandfather to his mother it is really appreciated.
Would you happen to have any family history that you could/would share with me?
|Lael Alberg - DAR||Thank you|
Thanks for the correction and the additional information. It helps us all.

I made a typo, my left hand just won't do as commanded by my old brain at times. The 28th is correct.

|Sondra Van Scoy Krastins||RE: Thomas Price Johnson|
Mary Jane Dickerson and Thomas Price Johnson were my 2nd great grandparents. Their daughter Ophelia Medora Johnson is my great grandmother. She was known as Bubba by her family. She married Robert Franklin Overstreet, and they had 11 children. My grandfather was the baby of the family, William Sydney Overstreet. He married my grandmother, Vergie Alice Justus in 1915. They had 6 children. My mother was the 4th child. She was Juanita Frances Overstreet. She married first, Ercel O. Nix, and second, Vincent Frank Van Scoy, my father.
I would love to share photos and to know how we are related.
I look forward to hearing from you. If you are just remotely related, I would like for you to transfer this memorial to me. Thanks.
