|H J Hill||Cyril R Newton|
You may be interested to know that Cyril R Newton (5 Aug 1919 to 13 July 1944) was the son of Cyril Ramon Newton who was associated with the jazz-age bands of the 1920s at the Savoy Hotel in London.
Ramon was a name that Cyril senior adopted.
The bands were the Savoy Havana Band and the Savoy Orpheans. Cyril junior was born in New York City and had enrolled only two years earlier on 23 May 1942 at Governor's Island NYC.
I'm researching Cyril senior.

Glenn, Thank you so much for Edwin and Rose Myers headstone pictures. This is my husband's grandparents.
Thank you for taking the photo of my grandfather's grave.
|James Osborne||William Joseph Corbe|
Thanks for taking the excellent photo of Mr. Corbe's gravestone. There weren't many soldiers in Company A who received 2 silver star medals. I hope to learn more about him. Thanks again.
Thank you, Glenn. I really appreciate the photos you have taken for me. You rock!
