GOOD GRIEF!!! Who is the pathetic loser whiner who keeps messing with my bio????? If somebody is turning me in to the Findgagrave Powers That Be...get a life. I have ZERO USE FOR SELF-APPOINTED FINDAGRAVE POLICE. I've had enough of these "self-appointees" telling me what to do with my stuff.|
I'll transfer just about anything for just about any reason with the exception of my relatives in Marathon County, Wisconsin, Shawano County, Wisconsin, Lincoln County, Wisconsin & Waushara County, Wisconsin. I've entered more of my relatives on other states of course. I will admit that over 90% of my entries are not my relatives.
Is anybody ever going to step up to the plate and claim my England U.K.,(with the exception of Usborne) Pennsylvania, Connecticut & Delaware memorials or even submit a correction? Hmmmmm.....

Thanks for catching the mistake on the typo! I need to stop "burying" people late at night!!
I've corrected it. I appreciate that you had interest to read the memorial's bio. Its nice to know someone is reading this stuff I spend hours adding to pages. :)
|Scooter49||corrected date of death|
Hello - Would you please so kind as to change the date of death for John Goddake, Find-A-Grave Memorial# 106968184? The webpage has it as Sep. 22, 1944 but the image of the newspaper obituary has what I believe to be the correct date of FEB. 22 1944. If you like, you could also use the obituary's date of birth of Oct. 9, 1864. Thank you very much for all your hard work with these records.
I would very much like to find some information on John Goddake's father and mother. I have a family record of the mother of the four boys being Anna Holt but am unable to verify it. His father is unknown to me. John's three brothers (Henry, Theodore and Frederick) all kept their step-father's surname of BRENER. I first find them in the 1870 census living in DePere before they moved to Almon, Shawano county before the 1880 census. John's nephew, Evan (Theodore Brener's son) also took the name of Goddake soon after leaving home.

....to tell you that I absolutely love your bio page. You have very eloquently echoed the frustration of so many here!
Thanks for the comedy relief! :D

I noticed that you manage the memorial (107045481) for Frederick Kosbab. I was wondering if you might know where his wife Agnes Krueger Kosbab is buried. She was born in 1887 and died 17 July 1959 in Shawano Co., WI. Since she died just a year after her husband I thought she might also be in Woodlawn. Any help you can give, I would appreciate.
new name noted! I understand. I've been really good about paying attention and not sending them to DasPrussian.
The other memorial for Fredericka Krueger at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh is #39777699. It has a gravestone photo and was created in July 2009. The death date matches your memorial. Hope this helps.

You are quite welcome..I was going to be in the area where the cemetery is located on vacation so I went ahead & took a photo of your requested headstone. Have a nice weekend.

Orleans Cemetery and Orleans Four Corners Cemetery ("Old Orleans Cemetery' came back with no matches) do appear to be the same cemetery. I see that Find A Grave has attached a link to the 'Orleans Four Corners Cemetery' listing referring people to the 'Orleans Cemetery' listing, so I would guess this is their way of merging the two as the same cemetery.
I also noticed there are two pictures of the cemetery, mine with the old wrought iron entry, and a newer painted sign naming it the Orleans Four Corners Cemetery. Not sure why that is the case. I searched NYGenWeb and they only list the Orleans Four Corners Cemetery. However, whoever posted for them may have simply chosen the newer sign, or not realized the older, more formal entry existed.

I have followed some of your comments on the vanadlism at Pine Grove. I was actually there the day after just by accident taking pitures. One of the caretakers actually pointed out where the damage took place and I went to check it out. All the stones I have added to your links where you had the Vandalism note where not even in the area that was vanadalized. The vandalism was in the front sections of the cemetery and these memorials are way in the back.
As disturbing as this whole thing was, I could not find any badly damaged stones. Most of them where just knocked over. It appeared as if the thugs were trying to have a strongman contest. All the stones that were knocked over were some of the biggest ones in that area.
I sometimes wonder if some of the "Damaged" stones were just older stones that were already fallng apart and it was just convienent to blame the thugs to elaborate the story a bit.
