Lifelong university professor, teaching literature in all fields--World Literature; English Literature; American Literature. Designed & taught the course Documentary Film & Literature of Modern War for an Honors Program at a flagship state university. In preparation for the course, took 4 battlefield tours in France: for WW II, of the Normandy D-Day invasion beaches; for WW I, of The Somme, Ypres, Verdun, others.
