Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Wilson & Buckmaster
Hello!

I see from your bio that you have done research on the Buckmaster line. I am related to Sylva Latilla Buckmaster's husband, Albert Tilden Wilson (#19819877). They had five children but I was recently told that the two oldest are possibly Sylva's step-children. Do you have any info supporting this?! Would love to hear from you!

RE: Emily Bryan
I am confused and hope you will forgive my memory.

I think there were two pages on the lady, and it seems you deleted yours?

If the info on the other page is correct, she married James Bryan, he died in July 16, 1822, then she married James F Perry in September 23, 1824 - so I suppose her full name would have been Emily Margaret Austin Bryan Perry?

Guy Morrison Bryan was born in 1821 in Missouri before James Bryan died there, so it would seem that James was Guy's father - yet you declined that change? Indeed, Guy is listed as a son in text on Jame's page - so why did you decline that change?

thanks

Anna Bixler & James Buckmaster
According to the Noble County, Indiana Marriage records Anna Bixler is the Daughter of Andrew Bixler and Elizabeth Stealy. She Married Andrew Riley Jan. 1, 1861 in Noble County, Indiana
And Married James Buckmaster Oct. 21, 1871 in Noble County, Indiana
On both records it states that she is the daughter of Andrew Bixler and Elizabeth Stealy.
But the records are only as good as the person entering them, so maybe they are incorrect.

I found Ann E. Buckmaster!
Hey there,

It looks like I have turned up one of your Buckmasters down here in Alexandria VA.

According to her stone she is the Daughter of Ann and James S. Buckmaster from Frederica Del.

Here she is:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=141685012

I have added her as a member of the family. Please let me know if you disagree with her membership and I will remove her.

I am glad to transfer her if she is one of your wayward family.

Regards,

Brian

Thank you for the transfer. He is not a real close relative, but I will take care and transfer him on if someone closer comes along. I love the poem you have on your bio. When my granddaughter was very young (prob abt 4) and used to go to cemeteries with me she once said that it would be nice if they could still talk to us. Out of the mouths of babes...
