Bio and Links
I have been doing genealogy research since 2003. I enjoy going through old cemeteries and newer ones. I have been mainly researching Bennington County, Vermont but do research other areas also. I have some kind of relation to many memorials that I have submitted.
If you want a memorial transferred to you please use FAG guidelines and the edit link on the far top right of the memorial, that is the only way I will do transfers, direct emails and messages will not be done. INCLUDE YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND YOUR MEMBER NUMBER. Just saying family is not sufficient - many of the memorials I have done are in my "family" also, I need a specific relationship or the transfer will not be done. If you have corrections please use the edit link on the far right of the memorial, with the new edit system, you can't tell me the source of your information. I will be verifying the information you send - I do not use ages on headstones to calculate birth dates, they can and have been incorrect on many occasions. If I can't find a valid record to verify your birthdate edits they will not be done. Also when sending me links please include the name of the individual that you want me to link to so that I know I have linked to the right person. I verify all corrections before doing them. If you use my pictures on your family tree on Ancestry.oom or another service please state where you got the picture.
I am extensively researching the Hitchcock and Rudd families from Connecticut, Massachusetts & Vermont.

Sarah Bennett
Hi again - Could you please tell me how to link Sarah's 2 daughters to her? They are both on Find a grave.

RE: Sarah Bennett
I have no idea where Silas is buried. He is listed in the 1800 census in Sandgate, Bennington. Vt and Sarah is listed in the 1810 census. I checked the VT records that found Sarah in with no luck. Old cemeteries are funny things . There may be a 1800 gravestone and someone who died 2 years later and you know is buried there is missing a stone. That's half the fun of genealogy LOL. At any rate you have done a lot of good for people judging by the remarks that pop up. So thank you for that.

RE: Sarah Bennett
I had the 1851 date for years until I got Ancestry and found her death record there. So I took another look at the picture of the gravestone and realized that the spacing of the # 1 did not look quite right. So I rechecked and then emailed you. Now if I could just find where Silas is buried sighhhh.

Sarah Bennett who is listed as dying 9 February 1851 actually died 9 February 1854. A close look at your picture does show a wider space between the 5 and the 1. I have a copy of her death record if you would like me to email it to you. Joan Huot Lowell, Ma
