|I live in the Oklahoma City area with my wonderful husband and two dogs (shhh, don't tell them they are d-o-g-s because they think they are human and try to run the house). I have 2 grown children and 6 rapidly growing grandchildren. I am recently retired from a career as a pediatric nurse. I am enjoying retirement and starting to spend more time on my other passion, after my church and family, genealogy. I have found that I enjoy cemetery walking and do so at every opportunity much to the chagrin of my family at times. A simple walk can turn into a 2 hour stroll through a cemetery if one is near. I am looking forward to helping others find and document their deceased loved ones. Let me know if I can help you in your search in Oklahoma. I also make trips on occasion to southern Kansas to do my own genealogy work and will be glad to do searches there too.|

I transferred his memorial to your care, since you are family and could probably add much more information than I.

Patsy, I just came across your lovely message for Benjamin Burwell, my great-uncle by marriage. His wife, Agnes Carnahan, was the oldest sister of my grandmother, Ida May Carnahan. Ida May was married to Arthur James Elder; my father was his 3rd child, Victor B. Elder. Please tell me how you are related to Agnes; I have been searching for almost 20 years to try to discover what became of Joseph Carnahan, the father of Agnes, Ida, and the middle sister, Etta. I would be very grateful to know any information you have concerning the Carnahans, and I would be more than happy to share family records that I have.

Would you like for me to transfer Enid & Donald Patterson to you? I think it's always better for a relative to manage the memorial.

I found your memorial on my grandmothers page. Are you related somehow? I'm always curious to find new relatives. And don't feel bad about walking through cemeteries "much to the chagrin of my family", my brother and I both share that interest but we also understand the funny looks from other people. :)
