Been curious in genealogy at a young age. Love going to cemeteries to see the history of people who once lived. I love going out to cemeteries. And if someone needs a request or if the cemetery hasn't been submitted on FAG, I do not mind doing my part. One of the things I like doing is transcribing headstones. |

Mr Perry - I note that you are leaving flower inscriptions on female memorials, where the person's date of death is before 2000. Most of them are wrong. For some reason, the person opening the memorial (no name - just the inscription
Imported from: US Veteran's Affairs) left a notation indication the female had served in the military. (THIS REFERS TO MEMORIALS LEFT WITHIN NATIONAL CEMETERIES)
If you would take the time, go back and look at those memorials with grave stone photos - you will note that the stones carry no inscriptions referring to military service, other than for the spouse.
I would suggest you call the folks at Find a Grave,
and verifying this.
