Hello, my name is Karl Stelly. I'm 59 years old, and I'm originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. I've lived in Baytown, Texas, Tulare, California, Great Falls, Montana, Killeen, Texas, Manassas, Virginia, and Louisville, Kentucky. I moved to Gettysburg with my fiance about 8 years ago. I enjoy roaming the battlefield and photography, and studying the history of Gettysburg and the Civil War. I have quite a few photographs of Gettysburg and other Civil War battlefields and other historic sites posted on Google Earth. I use the name "Seven Stars" on Panoramio and Google Earth. If you see photos there by "Seven Stars," that's me!

Thank you Karl for finding this photo for me. I have been expanding the Smyser line in my tree when I found out that a neighbor I had when I was growing up was related to me through marriage. What a small world. Thanks again, sheila

You posted a photo of my great Uncle Lloyd's headstone at Gettysburg. Thank you! I am doing some research on him to add to family tree work that my mother started many years ago.
With the 70th anniversary of D-Day, my Uncle is on my mind (again/still!). He was my grandmother's brother and she never stopped missing him.

Thanks for your input. Now I will try to document it. I love my job =)
Thanks very much for the photo of the gravesite of my great-uncle Captain Angelo Onder, Mr. Stelly. First accessed your wonderful picture today, the anniversary of D-Day.

Hi Karl, Are you related to James? I have a
William "Bill" "Gravy" Rutledge b. ca 1897 married to an
Edith Rutledge (born McKnight)b. ca 1896, his mother was
Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Rutledge (born Moore)b.Oct 11 1860. She would be the daughter of Abraham Moore who is my GG Grandfather. Just wondering if they are the same person. Any help would be appreciated. =)

Hi Karl...I have transferred. It is such a unique little cemetery.
Going through Sunset headed toward Opelousas on hwy 182...just out of Sunset on the right. You will notice the little red church and the cemetery is right behind it. A lot of history there.
