Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native Texan, born in Gainesville, Cooke, County, Texas on 3 March 1945. I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1964-1968. I made my living as a mechanical engineer for Bell Helicopter for 41 years and am now enjoying retirement. My interest in genealogy was really kindled when my father died in 1978 and I inherited boxes and boxes of documents.

You are welcome. It was easy to check the library and see if the D.A.R. had recorded any inscription. If they had, I'd gone back and probed around to see if a marker was covered. It is sad that his grave wasn't marked with a marker like his wife.

RE: UPLICATE MEMORIALS 123605608 & 95792317
If you would like to attach your photos to the other memorial for Bessie Eulalah Davis Gay/Jones, and then delete the duplicate memorial you created that would be great. I will then update her memorial to reflect her marriages with links.

By any chance do you know anything about her last husband, Joe Jones? I think I actually met him once about a year before she died. Is he still alive? I can link her memorial to all of her spouses if you have specifics on him.

Thanks for your help here.

Don, I am so glad to have you point it out to m me. There were more than one Earl and I had the wrong one. Thank you, I did take that down.

Don, My goodness, my source was Earl Yeakley and he stated that he was shot. The story was that Dad came home from hunting ans left his gun propped up by the door. A neighbors son came over, picked it up and pointed it at him, the gun went off. Looks like I got two different stories. Earl is gone now. He used to come to Arizona during the winter and I would see him. Not sure how I check this out but I will. Just give me a little time and I will get back to you. Don, you have worked hard on this too and provided a lot that I did not find. I thank you too.

RE: Tom W. Warren
Sorry I do not know this Tom Warren. The flower I added to his memorial is one of many I randomly place while searching for my ancestors. Good luck in your search.

RE: Lena Solomon
Thank you, Donald, for taking and posting the photo of the gravestone for Lena Solomon.
Did you take that today?
I wonder why her date of death is not on there.
Maybe she was buried somewhere else.
Having been born in 1902, I doubt that she is still living.
