As a lifetime history buff, and having lived near some old cemeteries, it is only "natural" that the two are now combined.
I've catalogued all the Confederate fallen in the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery in Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va. I will soon publish a roster/book with these findings and short bios/service records of these men. A copy will be presented to the Spotsylvania Courthouse Museum.
Also, I'm in the process of doing the same for the Confederate fallen and veterans in the Fredericksburg Confederate and City cemeteries.

As Historian of the above cemeteries, please feel free to inquire of any Confederate burials.
Also, I give tours of each.

The Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County Battlefields National Park Service refers Confederate burial inquiries to me.

Please include source(s) for ALL edits. Too many times incorrect edits have been submitted, so I rarely accept non-email edits. THANKS for understanding--

Memorial 68789382 Pvt Geo W Dunaway
Hi. I thought I would tell you I enjoyed the bio you put there for Pvt Geo W. Dunaway. I'm doing research for a cousin's husband and this is his direct ancestor. Would you have any other information on Pvt Geo W. Dunaway?
Thanks, Shirley :0

RE: Thomas Bayne
Hello Big French- I am really embarrassed to say I have no record of suggesting an edit to Thomas Bayne. I do remember working recently on someone who's buried in Fredericksburg City Cemetery or Sunset Park. Looking at my FT I see Thomas Bayne, 1804-ca 1870,son of Matthew Bayne and Lucy Robinson Bayne, but that's not ringing a bell either. I'm not even sure abt his DoD. If you email me at robinsonjuditha@yahoo.com with details of those edits maybe I can respond sensibly. Thanks for your work on Find A Grave- seems to me I've seen your name on many more than 14 Memorials as I've worked on my Faith Robinson FT on Ancestry. Sorry I'm so befuddled.

RE: Sgt James L Henderson
While 'Lewis' has come to me by anecdotal confirmation from great grand children of James, the only concrete-ish confirmation is that the year James died, 1906, there was a grandson born the same year named 'James Lewis Henderson' link provided here:

http://person.ancestry.com/tree/1425008/person/-1943852582/facts

I continue to look for more records - that L appears to have been very important to gg-grandfather James, and if I can find more clarification in James L's history, I'll be sure to note it clearly in his record. I probably need to get the KG historical society to check handwritten records at the courthouse... KAN

RE: Sgt James L Henderson
I wish I could answer your question for I have asked it and looked across my Ancestry tree as it developed in that arm of the family and have still not found a maternal surname or even Lewis even as a male middle name that would clear up the mystery. One thing about the broader scope of a 15-year building of an Ancestry tree is that chipping away in small chips seems to eventually bring the mystery to the surface - eventually! So I will be sure to let you know if/when this happens.

Thanks for getting in touch; I'm working in my Henderson line to connect the family records into this line of records, as well as other lines. Maybe something will surface in that way!

Thanks for your good work; I keep an eye out for your work as I toggle across programs; Find A Grave is a vital component for my hunting and gathering - thanks so much...

RE: Perry Carter
I will post the picture of Perry's widow's petition for his military pension. This is where I obtained the information. I hope this helps.
Please let me know if I can help you.

Thomas Whitehead
1st Battle of Manassas
I am looking for members of the Town Creek Rifles, later Co. C., 2nd Mississippi Infantry Volunteers, Confederate States Army of Northern Virginia that fought and died at the 1st, 2nd and 3th Battles of Manassas. There was a newspaper article, dated Jan. 11, 1907, Tupelo Journal, Tupelo, Misissippi, Town Creek Rifles. This record show the roster of this group and what happen to the members. Several members died at the Battles of Manassas. I got interested in the battle because I ran across information on Thomas Deaton who died July 21, 1861 at the Battle of the 1st Manassas. I found this information from a Family bible and from church records from Center Hill Baptist Church, Lee County, Mississippi. I would appreciate any information where I can find where he is buried.

Thank You,
Thomas Whitehead
