Hi Patricia - Somebody gave me that information. I wish findagrave gave us the ability to sort the edits so we could go back and find out things like this. Given the document you have what do you think I ought to do. If the marriage ctf says maiden name is Orr, I think we change it. What say you?

Hi Patricia, wondering where you found the middle name Mason for William Turner.

You have misspelled the maiden name of Ida. Her name was Neukirchner nor Keukircher. Could you please change the information. Thank you for all your efforts.

Hmm... Not sure. If his parents are listed on the death certificate as Michael Vinson and Ellen York, then that's him. The birth date on his headstone is likely not correct as he is listed on the 1860 census as 5 years old. I know for sure his younger brother Joseph (my great-grandfather) was born in 1859. We have his birth date in an old family Bible. On every census where the family is still together, William P. is listed as older than his brother Joseph. So it's always possible that the death date on the headstone is wrong too--especially if it was placed long after his death.

|Gwen Gieson||Henry E. Luther|
Patricia, I am related to Viola M. Kennell Luther and wonder if you could tell me if she is buried with Henry Elmer Luther #43268614 in the Grandview Cemetery blk 45, lot 3, space ? I am not sure of her husband's name so I am guessing that this is the Henry Luther that is in the obituary.

There was dead grass covering part of the bottom of the stone. Because of all the rainy weather lately, It was wet underneath the grass. I will try to remember to go back and get a photo when the stone is dry. I also took a photo of his son Albert's stone and added it to Albert's memorial page.
