Oaklawn Cemetery

Thanks, I'll continue with my project at Oaklawn. My plan is to take photos of all the local cemeteries. Please go ahead with answering photo requests, even if it's one of the cemeteries I'm working on. I'm sure you're able to fulfill the request quicker than I can. It takes me a while to take the photos, edit them and post to Find A Grave. If I take some duplicate pictures no big deal.

I've already taken photos of the headstones at Highland and Liberty Hill Cemeteries. I started by doing photo requests but I found that I'm walking all over the cemetery so I might as well take pictures.

I started to do this because I've found some of my relatives on Find A Grave and I've had some wonderful people fulfill requests for me. I do this because I hope others feel as excited as I do when they find one of their relatives on Find A Grave.

If you decide you want to take photos of an entire cemetery, please try and let me know. Anyway, thanks for answering my message. I appreciate what you're doing.

Thanks, Carla

Oaklawn Cemetery
Hi Ruth,

I noticed you had taken some photos in Oaklawn Cemetery. You did a great job with them. I've started taking photos of all the headstones in the cemetery. I just wondered if you're doing the same thing or just filling photo requests. I didn't want to duplicate anything you were doing. I've already done one secton and half of another. I've posted all the photos I've taken to date on Find A Grave. If you could let me know if you're filling photo requests or taking photos of everything, I'd appreciate it. I plan on going out to the cemetery again on Friday or Saturday (depends on the weather).

Thanks so much, Carla
