I have lived in the St. Louis area for over 40 years although I grew up in Jackson, Missouri. I attended New Bethel Baptist Church (the original building too)and was baptised in a creek as the original church had no running water.My mother and some friends helped me start working on my family tree and once I began I haven't stopped. It has been enlightening and exciting expecially when I hear from distant new relatives and can share information.Find A Grave Memorial has been helpful to me and I have enjoyed trekking through many of the cemeteries in Southeast Missouri.
