Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 'farm girl' who grew up in central Iowa, but now live in northeast Iowa.

I found my great grandmother's headstone on Find a Grave quite by accident and have been hooked on this site ever since.

My goals are to try to leave a legacy for my children and grandchildren by connecting them to their family.

I also want to help other people find their relatives and friends. I am so happy to hear from a family member who has found a relative or friend through a memorial I created.

I recall the tender message from a woman who wrote to thank me for the memorials and gravestone photos of three little children born in the 1880s whose family had moved on and the wherabouts of the children were unknown to succeeding generations. The children have not been forgotten!

I am not interested in amassing large numbers of memorials. I am interested in connecting family members. I am fine with transferring memorials for a non-relative to someone who will add information.

I have posted many memorials and photos from various cemeteries so you can gather data for a person. I will remove a memorial if it is too sensitive for you, and I will remove any photo you do not want on a memorial.

I try to make an informative memorial page for people. I also try to connect family members within a cemetery or area by researching the family. This takes time, so the memorials I've created are never "done".

Since I do not know everyone in my memorials, I could make a mistake. Please let me know if you notice an error so it can be corrected. I want to have true and appropriate information that may help others search.

I have done a lot of memorials and photos at Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Iowa. I appreciate knowing about obituaries so I can make links to family. I took gravestone photos of the entire cemetery and have finished posting them.

I am now posting photos for Pleasant Valley Cemetery in rural Clarksville, Iowa.

I am happy to share photos with you. Just email me using the edit and SAC tab on any of my memorials. I do not post my email address.

Hubbard genealogy
The information about Sarah Hubbard Jackson was part of a longer story which included a very long genealogy of the family. It was found in The History of Kenosha and Kenosha County, Wisconsin by Frank H. Lyman, Vol II. This is the source I was given http://www.uwp.edu/departments/library/archives/Biographical Resources, p 614. It actually prints out as p. 620. It begins as the story of Christopher Wright George. It also has pictures of Chris and Rebecca (Hubbard) George. There are many misspellings of names in the story, but that's not unusual. I'm not sure who the original source of the genealogy was; it is quoted in the book. Neither can I remember who sent it to me, but it has been very helpful.

Sarah Hubbard Jackson
On Sarah's page there is quite a lengthy genealogy, which I am familiar with, having had it sent to me by another genealogist. Joseph Wells Hubbard had another child who is not listed. His youngest daughter was Lois Ione Hubbard. Webster Rozell died when he was about three years old.

No, you can keep yours on there, it's a better, clearer picture. Thanks.

I tried, won't let me delete my gravestone picture, and I realized why...because someone else posted that picture. Probably have to click on the name under the picture and have them delete it.

RE: Mary Shoemaker Cleaver
I just think the findagrave website gets tempermental at times. I've finally learned that I'm not doing anything wrong and the image is in spec so to just go away and return later. The remembering to return sometimes doesn't happen
