Bio Photo TO POTENTIAL CONTRIBUTORS OF "ADDITIONAL INFO":
I appreciate additional info to memorials which I've created/maintain, but PLEASE LIMIT your info. This site is called FIND-A-GRAVE, not "Find The Genealogy History Of...".
I do not feel it at all appropriate to turn a memorial into an entire "genealogy work". Certainly it will be ONE, OF MANY valuable resources for genealogist' in their research.

I MOST ASSUREDLY WILL NOT ADD OBITS, which were published after December 31, 1922. Aside from being copyrighted, nowadays they usually contain info that would greatly aid IDENTITY THIEVES who browse sites like this for DOB's and maiden names, etc. This is not merely my opinion, but clearly stated in the Find A Grave rules as follows:

"You should not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so or you are the author of the obituary...
In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family with assistance from the funeral home"...
"If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published."

Certainly, some info "from" an obit may be included in a bio, but Find A Grave rules state the following:

"Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission"...

"Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may not scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I will not list a person who does not have a DOD inscribed on their stone, unless I have verified their death. Many people have pre-ordered their cemetery markers for the "inevitable", thus their name and DOB being posted online BEFORE THEY DIE, is a violation to their privacy... and frankly, an EGREGIOUS act!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I endeavor to compare NAMES and DATES, so that I don't create an entry for someone previously listed by another variation of their name.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Headstone photo's may be copied to other sites with the proper citation to FindAGrave.com. IT'S A SIMPLE COURTESY!
Photo's of individuals may NOT be copied to other sites, without my expressed consent.
NOTE: 99% of the headstone photos I've added are best viewed when "clicked-on".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I actually have a very busy life outside of 'FindAGrave', so if you do not find I've added/or corrected a memorial (within guidelines established above) within two weeks of it being sent, please send me a gentle reminder.

RE: Memorial# 27300146
Hi Liz

Thank you, I would be glad to manage it. Possibly Memorial# 27300193 Sarah too his wife. I real want to thank you again. I have sent months trying to track him down and most of the tree's on Ancestry have the wrong James H Wilson. 2 were born in Altoona the same year. Was only able to get a death certificate from the other one who died in Chicago in 1916. Without your input on find a grave I would of never found the right answers!!!. I have been out taking photo's and need to contribute back some myself.

Thank you!!!!!!!

Memorial# 27300146
Hi Liz

Thank you so very much for this photo, as this is the only record I had of the death of my 2nd Great Grand father. This lead me to this obituary below on him that correctly lead to his parents by his brother names.

Would it be possibly to change the date from 16 Feb 1916 to 15 Feb 1915?

Transfer Request
Hello Liz.
I read your bio, but am not sure if you transfer memorials or not. If so, would you please transfer the following to me:
George N MacDonell, III - #32901311
William (Billy) James MacDonell - #32901435
I am trying to place my MacDonell family all in one place, as there are several contributors here.
If you don't do transfers, would you be kind enough to leave me a note.
Thanks and thanks for posting in the first place.

RE: Another
LOL, sorry for the confusion but at the time I didn't know Macedonia was Massey until I came home from the cemetery and saw her memorial again. I took all the pictures of the Chadwick's again just in case you requested them at another time so I did have her picture.

Rev. Linus Herman
Do you have any information on the family of Linus Herman? I'm trying to locate the family of his son, Theodore, who died in 2005. Thanks!

Liz - It is so kind that you are taking the time to document the graves in the Brooksville Cemetery. You created a memorial for my daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Wood. I was very touched that you took the time to do that. Thank you!

RE: Thomas Todd
Done. Also Thomas F Todd is buried in Sec. O, LOT 267, Grave #65. He is not buried in Cave Hill National Cemetery. He is buried in the Confederate soldiers section in Cave Hill Cemetery. They refused to bury the Confederate soldiers with the Union soldiers. The Union soldiers were buried in the National cemetery. Thanks.
