RE: Sarah Orders
Kathy,
You are very welcome. I hope you saw the comments that Sarah is buried on the same lot as Ida Belle Kaler. Don't know if there is a relation there but they are in the same plot.

Have a great day.
Nadine

Rachel Sampson
I remember my dad saying that Rachel Sampson was Indian. All of the relatives thought she was. I even found her name once on the Indian roll. I am realy interested in where you found her at. I have been looking and looking, I have a cousin who people keeps asking what tribe is she from?

Also how did you find out he was from Ireland? Everything that I have was Abner was born in Tennesse, he was also married twice.

Black/Sampson
The only thing that we do know is that grandpa said that we had Indian in us. So it is either coming down from the Sampson side or the Black side. I tend to believe it's possible both sides since Abner came from Tennessee, but then again Samuel Sampson (I believe it was Samuel) at anyrate he was a member of the redmen lodge.

John Logan Black
Sadly, my side doesn't have any stories to tell about John Logan Black, he died when my grandpa Ira Ernest "Ernie" Black was six weeks old.

Ulysses Grant Black
Ulysses Grant Black, is brother to my great grandfather John Logan Black. Uncle Grant married Rachel Alice Sampson and John Logan Black married her sister Martha Ellen Sampson, daughter's of Joseph Sampson and Nancy Hiers. So we are double related.
