I have been working with cemeteries one way or another all my life. When I was a child, I helped my mother and my aunts clean the brass markers on the graves of my grandfather and my uncle and other family members; my maternal grandmother had beautiful flowers all in her yard and we were constantly taking flowers to the graves of relatives and people who were friends of my grandmother (though complete strangers to me) who "had no one else to put flowers on their graves." Later, as a daughter-in-law, I became involved in the Henry County Genealogy Society's cemetery book project when I volunteered to type up listings on the over 425 cemeteries which the group had compiled for publication. I enjoy taking pictures of stones for people who cannot personally get to cemeteries in my area, and I appreciate people who have done the same for me in their area. I have created several memorials in the course of my cemetery work. Some of the memorials are people who are not related to me, so I am always willing to transfer those non-related memorials to people who request them - hopefully allowing more information to be listed than I am able to provide.|

M. A. Claxton:
How wonderful and quickly done. What a great service this is.
Thank you so much!

Hi, My name is Cheryl Clark and I am the great granddaughter of Ora Webb Miller. I noticed on the post you did for her on her tombstone you have her as a calculated daughter of Rutha Ann Orrell Webb and Legrand Hamilton Webb. She definitely is the daughter of the above mentioned and I will be posting picture of the rest of the family that I took today when I visited the graves of the Orrell-Webb family gravesites. I knew her very well and in fact she lived very closed to my parents and often I stayed with her weeks on end. I heard many stories about Legrand and Rutha and the church at Bethlehem. If there is any information I can give anyone I am happy to do so. Lucida Devine was the mother of Legrand.

You are welcome. But got to get another photo of Leo when I can hold the bush out of the way better.
And yes, all flowers planted and growing.
Out driving Mom around today. Went to Dover and saw lots of gardens planted.

Hi! I am a direct descendant of Thomas Divine Sr. and Jemima Dill Divine. They are my ggggg grandparents. Their son Thomas Divine Jr and his wife Elizabeth Avens Divine are my gggg grandparents. I do not have access to Milburns research. Upon her death, it was donated to the Library at the University of Tennessee where it is still in storage. Many of her belonging were auctioned off and apparently that included photos that she had. The photo I have came from Milburns collection but was found in an antique shop in Johnson City, TN not far from where she lived. A lady that was shopping there found this photo with the writing that it was Jemima Dill and Elizabeth Avens Divine. She did some research on the internet and found my website and that I was a descendent and graciously mailed me the photo.
