|The community of Find A Grave is very important in helping find the burial location of long lost relatives.|
If I have created a memorial that you would like transferred, please ask. I will transfer outside of guidelines as long as it is not a direct relative of my family members.
If by chance, I have created a duplicate record, please let me know as sometimes the fingers are faster than the mind! It is apparent that hitting the enter button more than once occurs - not realizing that it has already been submitted.
Please feel free to use any photos which I have taken and posted to findagrave, however, I respectfully request that you give acknowledgment of the source.
The Story Tellers
We are the chosen. My feelings are, in each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. To me, doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us "TELL OUR STORY!" So we do.
In finding them, we somehow find ourselves...
It goes beyond documenting facts. It goes to who I am and why do I do the things I do?...
It goes to deep pride that they fought to make and keep us a Nation. It goes to a deep and immense understanding that they were doing it for us. That we, might be born who we are. That we, might remember the. So we do.
... I tell the story of my family. It is up to that one called in the next generation to answer the call and take their place in the long line of family storytellers. That is why I do my family genealogy...

|Patty & Anthony W.||Kittredge photos|
I noticed your virtual flowers left for the Kittredge family on here - I uploaded some new photos of their gravestones if you want to see them (Charles, Ellen, etc..).
Have a good day.

Sharon, I see your edit request. I would not approve of unlinking his wife. This is correct. I could send proof if you need it. I believe you have the parents correct, but do not have a way to prove it. Do you have documentation for the relationship.

Please advise your source for name change as an edit was sent to us with the way it is now entered. Thank you.

Thank-you for transfer of my grandparents,Rufus & Clara, I can read your message on my regular email, but it's not coming thru here for me to reply. We have communicated before on ancestry.com. I have not found out any more about the Smith family, sorry. I am hoping that my mother has a few photos somewhere, she lives 1500 miles away. As soon as I find something I will notify you immediately.

I have transferred James Wood memorial to you and removed my Aunt as his spouse as I found her 2nd husband buried with his first wife in Cayuga County. It is really a web when you start trying to trace where everyone is buried. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Hi, thanks for your message. I'll be glad to consider adding any information you might send. Best wishes.
|Susan Hill||Peake's in Maple HIll Cemetery|
I happy that you like the updates & photos of the Peake family members.
I am not related, but rather documenting the cemetery, adding photos where needed, adding dates, transcriptions etc.
When I started this project, the cemetery was < 49% documented. That number drove me crazy, so I set out to do what I could to make updates and add photos where I could.
I'm working on the weekend photographing whole blocks at a time and then during the week, upload the photos and/or updating/adding facts.
