Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Denver Colorado and didn't get interested in my ancestry until I moved to Sargent, NE and learned shortly after that my grandfather was born near where I moved and that the original Wilmoth homestead was within 25 miles of where I live. My geneology journey has not been an easy one as my Grandfather was orphaned and adopted and my Grandmother on the other side was shipped off between families and never adopted. It has been a challenge.
I am a school nurse for about 900 students during the school year and a clinic nurse in the summers. I love scrapbooking, spending time with my family, walking the cemeteries with my dogs and being a grandma.
I live in a very large county and I try to fulfill as many requests for headstones in my county as I can. Some of the cemeteries are 70 miles or so from my home and some are not cared for and I find myself walking in knee high weeds and grass trying to find the stones. Bug bites, cactus, poison ivy, snakes, I never know what I might run into. Almost all of the cemeteries do not have a directory. It isn't always easy but I do the best that I can. If I have a memorial that you would like transferred please contact me and ask...if it is not my close relative I would be happy to transfer. The pictures I take are a gift to you to use, post or share.

Hi Terry!! Thank you soooooo much for your kind contribution to my familly tree. I was in Broken Bow in November 2012 when my father died. I had just started my quest and did not know about Nancy until months later.
This means so much to me... my mom's name is Nancy so it holds a special place in my heart to have my 3rd great grandmother's memorial in my tree to see.
I also scrapbook, that's what I am doing with all my work, to make a story/genealogy album for my future generations, plus the digital on ancestry.
I wish you the best in your education, and your new career. We always need great people in healthcare!
My grandmother Emma Northey was born in Sargent, and I got to see her memorial in West Union.
I would love to have a pen pal, it would be nice to keep in touch. best regards, marilyn :)
