Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience.

At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I moved to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you, feel free to contact me.

If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

RE: Foster Family Photos
Ahh! I said that wrong and I can't fix it... Grr! I meant to say "gentile librarian"! I would definitely have to agree & say that there's plenty of character in my collective name! First: strong as a boar. Middle (Alan): light bearer. Surname: ram.

RE: Foster Family Photos
P.S.- I'm charismatic in my beliefs. I've been to family history centers to view microfilms a few times. The last time I went one, I got a brief overview (w/o being proselytized) as to why the mormons are so involved in genealogy. So having been enriched to a degree on their beliefs, I got a good laugh from your comment about being a gentile mormon. :-)

RE: Albert Sidney Pike
That is correct, there was no marker with his name on it. However, next to Tina Choate Pike there was a flat blank marker. Of course it's only a guess that it belongs to Albert Sidney Pike. But that's why I took the picture at that particular angle.
