Yes, I received it, and am waiting to send a more detailed reply.
We buried one of my first cousins this week, daughter of Edna Bishop Jones. She was too young to leave us.

Hi, we are connected to the same Bishop line, but mine remained in Lunenburg County.
My grandfather was Thomas (Tom) Eldridge Bishop Sr.
We are descended from James Bishop, too.

Thank you! I am glad I could help. My maiden name is Bishop. I am from Texas, but I have traced my family to VA as you have. ;)

Hello again, William
I went back to the Historical Society Records that I previously told you about and the listing there shows him as Luther Paul. That is why I originally posted him that way. I left it as Luther Paul after visiting the cemetery, because that is something I'm used to seeing in my own family--the use of a first name as what I consider an honorary name and the middle name as the one used by the person in the everyday life.
Though the records from the Historical Society have proven to be very reliable, I have found that they are not without errors. If you feel like this is an error, I will be happy to change it.

I believe I have made the links that you wanted. The information I have comes from the website maintained by the Cooper county Historical Society. Unfortunately, it is not easily searched, which is why, from time to time, I pick a cemetery and transfer their information to findagrave.
If you're not familiar with their website, there is a link to it on my contributor page.
Good Luck in your Search!

I attached the parents to # 124154524 as you requested but realized afterwards it was not Alice. I discovered it too late--after I transferred it to to you.
That number is for Deemi Benway. But now that I have transferred Deemi Benway to you perhaps you could take the "parents" off ??
I will also transfer Alice to you and you will have both. That way you can attach the parents to the proper person.

Nevermind. Got it. Thanks.
|tisanders||RE: Carley Armstrong|
Evidently, I need a liitle more help. The number of both memorials and cemetery name would be most appreciated. Thank you! Tina
