Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've decided to change my profile to reiterate my feelings on transfers, additions, and corrections to the memorials that I manage:

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will now transfer only within the stated guidelines. Please do not ask me to make a bulk transfer of names. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.

I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.

Please consider using the "virtual cemetery" feature on this site to keep track of relations.

Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Please have your messages enabled if you want to correspond with me. I will not use my personal e-mail on this site.

Alma I. Rolfe
Not only did I get the photo for Alma I. Rolfe but also for her husband, Harold as they share the same gravemarker. Thank you so very much!

RE: Martha Underwood
That's perfectly alright. Thank you so much for taking the time to find and photograph their graves. Aunt Lahoma was a wonderful woman. She passed away this past December on one of her yearly trips to Oklahoma to visit our family. We miss her dearly. Just seeing where she is buried is comfort for all of us. Thank you.

Jacob F. Scherer
Hello,

Jaocb F. Scherer 80416156 lived for a time in the Tomball, Texas area. He is part of the very large Scherer family, that settled here.

"The Scherer Family Tree 1846-2012" by Vernon Scherer, Loyd Scherer and Glorianne Scherer Schwausch states that Jacob F. Scherer moved to Califorina along with his second wife Alwina (Alvina) Voss #80416164 married June 9, 1876, they and their living children moved to California.

I hope this helps clear up our misunderstanding about Jacob and gives you the info needed to connect him to his second wife.
I could email you a copy of all the documents that Salem Lutheran Church has on him and his children if you would like.

Thanks for your help,

Ruth Helmich

RE: Appreciative
Yes, it definitely confused me with the surname Sanders ~ will need to research it further.

The hydrangeas in the photo alas did not last til the next season after I planted them, I just don't have a green thumb like my Mom! The bush noted were a gift from a sweet friend for being her labor coach with her son a couple of years ago, I enjoyed them immensely and looking at this photo always reminds me of that beautiful birth!.

Thanks again! You are awesome!

RE: Thank you.
Your acknowledgment is appreciated. Sponsorship seems like a meaningful way to honor one's ancestors, both far and near.

George Wallace Garvin gravestone photos
May I have your permission to download the photos of the gravestone of George Wallace Garvin (Memorial# 81038868)?
I would like to upload them into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for the photo of Ruth and her husband Eugene. Ruth was my grandmother's sister and they lived for awhile together in CA, but Ruth never moved back home to Utah. I really appreciate your time and efforts to help complete her memorial.

Best,
Amy
