Feel free to contact me with any corrections or additions to my listings. I am happy to transfer individuals (unrelated to my family - or more closely related to you). |
Gravestone photos which I have taken may be freely used for any legitimate genealogical or historical purpose. Please click on the photo to make sure that it's mine, and that I did not just add it; I will credit original photographer.
And here's a standing "Thank you" to the usual suspects, for sending corrections, links & additional info for the local memorials; I know your work is impeccable!
Currently I am concentrating on Wolgast, Lorenz, Komes and Vickroy families in the Kane Co., IL area.
Also working on adding records & photos to West Aurora Cemetery.
Have recently changed service providers...and have just found FAG related emails have been going into junk bin (horrors!!!). If I've not responded, please make any requests again, using the "Suggest a Correction" tab. So sorry!

|My Labor of Love||RE: Hiram Hopkins|
I'm glad you caught this. It was late, here's the information for the surname Hopkins at Root Street Cemetery from the Aurora Master Plots:
Hopkins Herman 25-Aug-1849
Hopkins Harriet 15-Aug-1868
Hopkins Robert 18-Oct-1865
Hopkins Milton 15-Feb-1860
After Hopkins was Howland, I misread it, I thought it was another Hopkins.
Howland Hiram J 17-May-1863
I'm assuming that Herman Hopkins should be Hiram? Mine's already deleted. When I searched solders that served in the War of 1812, there's no Herman, but there are 2 Hirams.

Distant cousins. Would probably be better to wait until a family member more closely related laid claim to memorial --- that way they could add more info and such. Thanks for the offer. About new system....no notification if you have edits to make. I found the tab totally by accident! Yikes! Now check every couple of days.

Oops! Just sent you a private email as this one came through. Looks like we are on the same page.
|Glenda Barry||Minnie Chapman|
Thanks for sending the info, I have linked them. Let me know if you want a transfer. Have a good evening!
Thanks for linking Charles with his folks and all your work on these memorials.

Her son just passed Jan 2014. His obit has the names of his married sisters and maybe other info 123347728.
|David Read||James Edward Hatch|
Thanks for the recent comment. Seven month old James Edward Hatch was the son of Edward Payson Hatch and Annie Starr Hatch and grandson of James C Hatch buried nearby, who was the original settler of Lisle, along with Luther Hatch.
Thank you for the pic of the gravemarker for Zielinski. It is greatly appreciated

|Sue Ratcliffe||Zula Ashburn|
Lisa, I sent you a picture of Zula via e-mail. Hopefully you got it. If not let me know and I will send it again. The picture came from Richard Ashburn's daughter Sheila.
|Adrienne ||RE: Sobieski family|
