PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.|
It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.
Today this seems to be the case- Author Unknown
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked. As they went along the road they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame the old man is walking and the boy is riding." The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." So they then decided they'd both walk. Soon they passed some more people who remarked, "They're really stupid to walk when they have a donkey to ride." So they both rode the donkey. Now they passed some people who shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey?" The boy and man figured they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and he fell into the river and drowned. The moral to the story? If you try to please everybody, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye!
Having expressed this I have to say, most all of the people are easy to please. There are occasionally some who aren't, it is extremely hard to read people's minds. If you send information try to tell us how you want it added or used. It is really helpful if you send it directly to that persons memorial page, but I'll do my best to add & give credit to you however you get it to me. Thank you all who have sent links and info to make memorials more then just names and dates!

She is what I call a shirt tail cousin. I have the Books Brainerd/Brainard by Lucy Brainerd done at the end of the 1800's. I have made it a project to update it and find who I can and put it on the net. I am going to send you through edit tab some info from the book on her no need to transfer her I just want to find them all if possible. Thank you for being so nice.

Luella, Would you mind transferring the PASKACH memorials that you manage to me (46793994). My wife is a Paskach and we are in the process of tracking down more of her fatherís siblings.

Wow! You are prompt! I do have more to add if you want and I am just fine with what you are doing.
I am still in the process of gathering all the info for my tree but John and Hannah had 5 children: Mary, Josephine, Marion, Earl and Carl.
Josephine was my g grandmother she married Oliver Steckel.
Keep up the great work!
Luella - Thanks for the Gilmore burials. Nice photos!

Luella, I had been hoping to see his name on the stone for clarification, but as you said, it's better than nothing. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get this headstone photo for me. Also, thanks for your note accompanying the picture. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I have tried to start finding out more about my Bull ancestors of Pawnee City. I am the great granddaughter of Horace Bull. I wondered what happened to his siblings. Did they stay in Pawnee? I have a picture of him as a young man, which if I can figure it out, I will post it. Yes, please let me know how to link to any other Bulls. THANKS SO MUCH Christine

At the present I am not sure how many are buried there. I was trying to find out but the person taking care of it now just started last month and I could sense some extreme frustration on his end as I was asking more specific questions, like requesting a list of those buried there so we had an actual list to work together with on getting this resolved. He wasn't very confident correctness of the list. Understandably when he doesn't have record of my uncle and I am telling him he was buried there in 1980... So I will continue working with him on this and getting more information to resolve theirs and our issues so future people don't have to go through this.... We will get it resolved...
