I have always interested in where my family came from. Like all families, we have stories of famous/infamous relatives. Have been working for over 20 years trying to find the truth behind the stories. So far, I have been unable to prove any of the stories, but you never can tell! Only returning to the US for family visits limits the amount of time I have to explore physical records. With the advent of information on the internet, I have found great quanities of useful information. Find A Grave is a marvelous asset.
Relationship You have left several flowers and comments on many of my memorial and I think we may be related in some way. Are you related to any of my family lines: Tucker, Hubbard, Brown, McGee in the Savannah, Hardin County, Tennessee area? If you are who are all of the names to connect your family lines.
Memorial #83354570 The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”
There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn the exact location of Florence Townsend #83354570, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!
Coleman Lee Whitaker Carolyn - we put a photo on today for Coleman Whitaker in Forest Lawn here in Richmond. We also put on a memorial & photo for Barbara S Coleman who is buried next to Coleman. FYI, since they look like your family. Larry
