Just a friend!|
Please understand that I have no control over the names, words and dates engraved on stones, written on death certificates or provided in obituaries. I didn't write them. I'm only providing those previously written words to you.
I have been a contributor on this site for over 13 years, so yes it stands to reason that I have a fair number of memorials that I have entered, added to and lovingly care take even though they may not be a branch of my own family. It's quite possible that if I had not entered the memorial to begin with, you may not have been able to find them.
Individuals using this site need to realize that we are all volunteers and do not need to deal with abusive behavior or rudeness just because we won't make a transfer to someone who has registered two days or two months ago and want every memorial on the site with the surname of Jones. Or a transfer of a memorial of someone who they think just might be a fifth cousin, four times removed of their third ex-husband.
If you are new to this site, PLEASE read the "Frequently Asked Questions" located "HERE". If you take just a moment to familiarize yourself with these guidelines, it will definitely help yours and everyone else's state of mind, blood pressure and headaches.
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.
Please be kind. We all make mistakes from time to time. If I have made a mistake or created a duplicate memorial later than one you have created, please use the "Edit" tab and send me the correction or let me know of the duplication and it will be taken care of quickly.
I will make transfers using the "Guidelines" if they are not a relative of mine. I will transfer your children, siblings, parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. All other requested transfers will be considered if you use the "Edit" feature and state your relationship or intended need for the memorial.
Lastly and most importantly, there are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

Disregard my other message. Realized she may be living.

You have a memorial for Lennis Springs, but not for his spouse. They share the same marker in Dugger Cemetery.

I have an old photograph of Ruth Evelyn Galbreath from my grandmother's (Ella Wisenbaker Galbreath) photo album. She was a beautiful young lady when the photo was taken. I am sure that some of her family members probably have not seen it. It would be nice to have it added to this web site. Please let me know, and I will e-mail a jpg copy to you.
Amazing detective work on your part in gathering the information that you have on this Galbreath family. I have been researching it since 1996-2000, and did not find much on the Netwigs back then. Switched to other families since then and just now getting back to the Galbreaths (my mother's maiden name).

I saw your notice asking for a tombstone picture for Mr Behrens and actually checked the cemetery today. When I come to comment, the request was gone. None the less...Hermann Cemetery in Converse TX is a small and largely abandoned cemetery - there is nearly no up-keep on the ground. When I say small, it really is. I walked the entire cemetery twice and while it is almost exclusively German, there were no Frantz's. Two stones are fallen but I don't believe either to be Mr. Behrens. Are you certain he's in the Converse cemetery? There's also a Hermann and Sons in San Antonio TX.
He may be there.

|Violet "Roach"-Sanders||Elmer Lloyd Roach|
Alexandria National Cemetery
Plot: Sec C Site 247A
Don't know if this cemetery has headstones on these men & women who served in the military. If they do would you know if Elmer Lloyd Roach would have one. The info up above is what I received from Findagrave.com.
This is my father 2nd cousin and I am doing research on both of my parents families to add to the genealogy tree I have started. Thank you so much.
