*CAPTAIN MERIWETHER LEWIS(first cousins herewith) of the LEWIS AND CLARK EXPEDITIONS is a maternal MERIWETHER lineage descendant.
Most, if not all, American MERIWETHERS are direct descendants(including Meriwether Lewis) of Nicholas Meriwether I(1631-1678) of the JAMESTOWN, VA colony, c1652.

Additionally, by virtue of the Lewis & Meriwether unions, the George Washingtion, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Zachary Taylor and Jefferson Davis families are also related.

*Of Wiltshire "CHANDLER Subgroup 7b" Descendants(dating back to 1252 Wiltshire, England in region of Stonehenge; ie., of English immigrants "GEORGE & JANE CHANDLER" of Delaware, c1687.

Much appreciation is given to websites such as Find-A-Grave, related family societies and contributors that have provided the opportunity to discover our ancestors like never before...and occasionally to our own amazement.

RE: Albert Heaper memorial
I transferred the "Al Heaper" memorial so you could decide what to keep and then you can delete the one you don't want. As you saw the "Meisman" infant memorial won't open so I can't delete it, your best bet it to just create a new memorial.

Albert Heaper memorial
II am not related to 99% of my memorials, so if there are others you wish to maintain, you just need to ask.

Bernard H. Stroot 1886-1963
Received the following update from two cousins, which I verified by phone with HC Cemetery.
Bernard Henry Stroot 1886-1963, buried at
Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, Los Angeles Co, California, USA. Plot: Grave 5, Lot 732, Section M. Unable to locate a photograph of gravemarker. Is there some way to request a photograph be taken?

Best Regards,
Linda C. Stroot

RE: Stroot relations
Hello Randall,

I have just received info on Ben Henry Stroot from cousin Sheila Ward.
Ben was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Los Angeles.
Correct name would be Bernard Henry 'Ben' Stroot. The gravemarker in Quincy at Calvary Cemetery for Mary Agatha Koetters Stroot doesn't indicate the infant daughter and family memories don't show any name given to the daughter. She lived one day and died of Pulmonary Atelectasis, Sept 1922.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Linda Stroot

Ben Stroot 1886-1963
Greetings Randall,
Finally back to you after a brief vac. Ben Stroot was grandfather to my husband Steve C Stroot, son of Arthur A Stroot. He doesn't remember GP Ben ever called "Barney". He is sure the cemetery was Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Covina Hills, so I set the "Fina a Grave" to indicate that. I have the Family Tree as private. Please email with any specific questions.LC.Stroot

Well, considering he was buried 160 yrs ago, I would say that nature took over. Let me know if you decide to check out the Pearsons. Thanks

RE: Jeremiah Pearson
The crypt has three sides. So at one time it was completely enclosed. Possible vandalism or just wore away over time.
HIs wife is next to him in the iron fence. She is enclosed on all four sides.
