Hi Guen, I am interested in the picture of Annis and hope you may be a relative of his. Is this a picture you would have gotten from your family ? I have searched for the family of my mother's Great Grand mother,Malinda Dugan and I see strong family resemblance to a picture I have of her. My search on Ancestry puts his family from Tenn. And that fits with her.
my email is email@example.com for further communication with me,
Thanks so much, Joyce Harris

Okay, when I get back up to that area, I'll try again. The way they said it, it sounded like there was at least one Gessler on their list. Maybe I'll just ask for any Gesslers and check the stones directly.

Hi. According to the office, there is no Hannah Gessler in the cemetery. Is it possible she is interred somewhere else? The office can be reached at 570-282-5557.

I am consulting with another contributor about this. Thanks for your input.

We've worked on this one before. The mother mentioned in the obit would have been 10 years old when she gave birth, not likely. This happens more than I'd like to see it happen. Whoever speaks to the funeral home and offers the information often does not have the facts quite right. We believe we have the correct link between son and mother. Look at it again and let me now what you think.
Thanks for updating!

Would you please recheck the birth and death dates on John Daniel please. 1785 to 1952 is quite a long life. Thank you. Jenifer

Thank you so much for the nice things you said, Miss Gwen. It just encourages me to go out and do more! That said, I went out and got the obituaries for both Elmer and Mary E. Wilson. I posted the obits on the individual Memorials. I was unable to find a grave marker or headstone for Elmer Wilson (I will try again), but I did find one for Mary E. Wilson and it is posted on her Memorial.
Please check both, as there may be an error.
