Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in NYC and have lived on Long Island all my life.
I studied fine art and interior design. I worked in the trade until 2009 when I literally woke up one morning unable to walk and in constant severe pain. Since then nothing has changed.
My son Alex died of leukemia in 1997. FAG has been a WONDERFUL place to stay connected to him.
I thank all the kind people I've met on this site for their friendship and support.

Again I ask your indulgence as I continue this saga. On 9/27 I was admitted yet again to the hospital. On top of everything else, I have 4 herniated lumbar discs. On 10/3/14 I was placed in a wonderful Rehabilitation Care Center here on LI. The OT PT dept are outstanding. I'm up to 3hrs a day 1to1 therapy and they are optimistic I will walk again. I'm dealing with the pain without opiates. I'm determined. It's going to be a long road. I will start trying to make visits on my down time when I have energy. I'll start with the top and work my way through so please be patient I'll get there and will visit as often as I can.
God bless you all.

Hope things are going well for you and you're getting stronger by the day! I'm not happy with the cold snowy weather but Alex and Moochie seem to love it! Hugs, Rosie

RE: Hi!
You're always welcome, Allison, and I hope that you are feeling better. I am only back sporadically due to personal issues, but I always remember to visit your little boy. Have a nice day.

Healing Hands of Jesus.
You are in my prayers for healing and relief from pain. Do not rush to add tokens for my family, they aren't going anywhere. You worry about getting better. Sounds like your one-on-one treatment will do you good. Please don't overdue too soon.
Have faith,
Mary Richards

Allison, pray you're doing well
Allison, Traci has received well over 5,000 flowers on her site.

How have you been doing? Have you still been in the hospital?

Hugs to you.

Love always and forever.

Your token for Traci Fields
Beth, thank you so much for the token you left for Traci. It is VERY MUCH appreciated. I've been letting all my relatives (which aren't very many) know that I'm trying to get to 5,000 tokens for Traci by her birthday and yours helps in that count.

Thank you again.

Hi Allison,
Don't worry about getting here to leave flowers and tokens. Just take care of yourself, work hard and you will be able to walk. Determination and a positive attitude are most of the battle, which I know you have. We're all pulling for you and looking forward to the day when you tell us you are better and going home. Wishing you all the best and glad you are in a good place with the help you need.
Rosie Mc.
