|David Harrison||George Catherine Dunn Ballston Spa|
Hi, use to live in Ballston Spa many family members. Before I left took many pictures and getting back on track trying to post as doing my family ancestors research etc.
Anyway what I am asking have a head stone W.H.V. it was near William A Dunn Maria F. VanArnam. Any idea who ? If you do could you make a memorial.
Also on the monument was a Anis Howland posted , Also Kate V created a memorial dau of William and Marie. Harriet M Dunn Humphrey and others on there also.

One is memorial 129885008 and the other is memorial 135557103. Near the top right of each memorial, above where the photos go, are three choices... Transfer Management, Edit, Delete. If you click on Delete, you will go to a another screen which is the "delete confirmation" screen and then you can click either "no, keep it" or "yes, delete this record. If you click on "yes, delete this record" the memorial will disappear. Alice

|Alice ||Bertha Dunn duplicate|
Sylvia, I noticed that you have two memorials for Bertha Thompson Dunn 1918-2002 at the Dunning Street Cemetery...memorials 129885008 and 135557103, but only one memorial for her husband Robert Doyle Dunn. You may wish to pick your favorite memorial for Bertha, and link it to Robert, then delete the duplicate. :-) Alice

Yes, I've met your cousin at Stillwater Union...he's doing a great job there. The courthouse and county historian's offices are great places for research. I kind of like wandering around old cemeteries best.

Where did you find that precise date for Henry Dunn (Jan. 3, 1850)? Does a Dunn family Bible exist? Alice

|Alice ||Sarah & Weltha Dunn|
Sarah's not in the Poorhouse anymore, see memorial 89627617. And to anticipate your next question, for repair of these two stones, I would highly recommend Tim Cahrenger at LaBrake Memorials, 47 Lincoln Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866, phone 518 584-6660.

One more message....
I found a more recent list (2007) for the Salisbury Cemetery and I have Sarah Dunn listed, without dates. No doubt the stone is broken, and flat, the same as Weltha Dunn, but she's there. Unfortunately, the Salisbury Cemetery is in tough shape and could use some major restoration. How does Sarah link to the rest of the Dunn family? Alice

|Alice ||RE: wealtha Dunn|
I found my old notes on the Salisbury Cemetery and I don't have Sarah Dunn listed, although she may be there... or in a potter's field.
I added two more names, James Dunn and Mary Dunn. Apparently some of the original stones were replaced with the James & Sylvia Dunn monument, after Cornelius Durkee copied the inscriptions around 1877. The original stones had the person's age, but the monument has the dates of birth instead. Something is wrong with the dates for Henry & Elizabeth Dunn, so hopefully those stones are still readable. If I had photos, they have since disappeared in one of my computer crashes. Alice

Yes, there are a bunch of Dunns up there. It kind of seems that she was lower down on the hill, but it's been several years since I took the photo and I can't say for sure. Alice
