Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a homemaker. I am married, no children. My hobbies include genealogy among other things. I have other interests also. I volunteer for our library by delivering library materials to people who are homebound. I love to read and play computer games (those that challenge my mind).
I have decided I won't be contributing memorials to FindAGrave, except for those who pass away from my church, the Church of St. Bridget in Glassboro, NJ. I will, however, correct any that need correcting, so please e-mail me. I will also transfer any memorials to those who request them.
I don't know why there's a statement on my Profile page stating that I'm a photo volunteer. That's not true. I have done a few photos, but am NOT a photo volunteer.
I have been back on F. A. G. for some time now and have been trying to add information from the new Edit column. I'm doing the best I can.
Sometimes I do get Suggest A Correction in the traditional way and that's fine, however, if you DON'T list an e-mail address or LEAVE A PUBLIC MESSAGE statement and I have a question, I can NOT get back to you.
If I can't get back to you, I may not be able to do what's suggested.
NOTE: LEAVING A PUBLIC MESSAGE IS FINE. FOR SOME REASON, THIS IS NOT SHOWN UNDER MY PROFILE.

ON MARCH 18, 2014, MY DEAR BROTHER HARRY J. O'TOOLE, SR. PASSED AWAY. I HAVE ENTERED A MEMORIAL FOR HIM ON THIS SITE AND IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO ADD A REMEMBRANCE, YOU ARE PERFECTLY WELCOME TO DO SO.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

JOAN
NOTE; I WANT TO THANK THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE LEFT REMEMBRANCES FOR MY BROTHER HARRY. SOME CONTRIBUTORS DON'T HAVE PUBLIC MESSAGES AND THERE IS NO WAY I CAN ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR KINDNESS.
NEW NOTE: AS SOME OF YOU KNOW, I BROKE A BONE IN MY NECK IN OCTOBER. TODAY, AFTER A SECOND FOLLOW UP WITH THE NEUROSURGEON, I FOUND OUT THAT IT IS NOT HEALING AS QUICKLY AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. THEREFORE, I HAVE TO WEAR MY NECK BRACE MORE, MAKING IT HARDER TO BE ON THE COMPUTER. I WILL STILL CHECK FOR NOTES TO CORRECT OR TRANSFER OR ADD INFORMATION TO MY ENTRIES. IT MAY TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED. ALSO, I WON'T BE ADDING NEW MEMORIALS. I WILL BE ADDING TO MY OWN FAMILY, THE O'TOOLES, THE FERROS, AND THE PACITTIS.

RE: Esther Rizzuto's memorial
Hi Joan, Funny, I am friends with her niece also Joan and I will check to see if she died at home or somewhere else. I too think it's strange....so many times I have found someones death record and it happens to be on either their birth or death date. I do feel that those that have passed on are happy when we give them recognition. Thanks for doing the update. Denise

RE: Additions on memorials
Joan, all you need to do is go into your "Edits" tab under your name on your profile page. You can review the edits from there and just approve or deny anything you want to. You no longer have to manually make changes. Once you approve the edits, they happen automatically.

RE: Additions on memorials
Hi, Joan. I photographed about 75% of Berlin Cemetery and have a large backlog of photos to upload. If you have additional memorials for folks buried there, you may be getting more edits. Take your time...I'm only up to those buried around the 1960's so I have quite a way to go. I'm finished with the really old markers...a lot of them are so hard to read. If you're familiar with the cemetery, I have the last two sections to photograph after I upload the backlog. Warmest regards.

RE: Ernest Pollard's memorial
Thank you so much. You are a veteran trooper in this, and I am a rank beginner, electronically. Today I started with ancestry.com and have found some things, esp. Ernest Merlyn's siblings, although not yet their burial locations. Al Poll.
