I have seen photo requests for people buried in the Stockton Family Cemetery. Unfortunately I cannot find any information about its whereabouts. I am happy to go and take photos if you can share information about the location.
I noticed someone has already "claimed" the requests, so perhaps you are already taking care of this.
Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

I've tried contacting you via e-mail but it says that address is no longer current. I would like to correspond with you regarding the Stockton genealogy and was wondering if you would contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Richard and Abigail are my husband's direct line from their daughter Elizabeth who married William Budd, and then their daughter Mary who married Joseph Shinn.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I have a copy of a death certificate for a Marguerite E Holton (drumgold/McGraw) and I noticed that Mrs. Harold Stockton was the informant on several McGraw certificates. Anyway I am related to the McGraws and Drumgolds and would like to see if you had any info on them. They lived in Terrell and they all came from Ireland. Let me know if you have any info that might help me. Thank you.

Hi ~ I am curious if you are related to Jerry and Margaret Stockton (children - Loren, Tillie, Mamie)???? Reason why I am asking is because you might be able to fill in a mystery to me. I am researching my Great Great Grandpa (Silas Edward Vanderhoof) and in the 1880 census it has him living with the family above along with others (Evinger Dangler, James essener, William Steveson and Robert Sholvin). I am curious in your family paperwork if you have why they had these people living with them?????? Just trying to figure out why he left NY to Terre Haute, Indiana & what he did there and who he was with?????? It does give him an occupation as a nail feeder?????
Any info you might have that you could share with me I would Very much appreciate.

Thank you for so thoughtfully posting both the will and then a copyable text of the will. I greatly appreciate it. Not everyone has access to documents such as this. Very kind of you to take the time to do both aspects.

Would you mind taking a look at memorial 130625896 and if you could, letting me know who his parents are? I wasn't sure if they were the Abigale and William in Stockton Cemetery. Thanks

Jerry, I did see that you are very prolific on researching the Stocktons. You've done a fabulous job! Unfortunately, the information I have is through a great-aunt by marriage. She told me when she sent me all this information that everything was "verified" but she did not tell me how. She is no longer available to ask questions of as she is extremely elderly. So, I guess the short answer is no, I don't have verification of Abigail's maiden name. I wish I did. I apologize for not being sure and of course, you are right to not add it if it not verified. Shoot. I thought I was helping. I have a lot on Stockton's but you already have most of it so I have nothing new to input. At least, nothing verifiable.
Well, good hunting and keep up the good work. 40 years of service is something to be very proud of!

Jerry, I found a book in the Clinton County Library, written by Jack Ferguson, called Early Times in Clinton County. I am sure you have probably come across it yourself.
I have found some errors, especially the lineage showing Davis as a son of Richard of NJ, which we now know is not the case.
In the lineage, Jesse Stockton Sr (1782-1872) is listed as the son of John and Margaret Stockton, but it is not John Smith Creek Stockton. The John listed as Jesse's father is the one who married Margaret Barnes, who died in Tennessee. The children of this John and Margaret were: Rachel, Nathaniel, Jesse, Elizabeth, John, Michael, Thomas B, Samuel C, Davis, Jemima, and Daniel.
I noticed you mention a deed, showing Jesse as the heir to John Smith Creek. Did this deed actually show which John it was? Do you have a copy?
Thanks in advance for your help. I would love to know who my real 5th great-grandfather is!
