I have been actively researching my family lines since 2004 and have found so much interesting information. I have found cousins I never knew I had and met many wonderful & helpful people on this site as well as on Ancestry.com. |
I wasn't much of a graveyard visitor until I lost my husband, who was only 36, due to leukemia and a few short years later lost my infant grandson due to Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (born with only 3 chambers to his heart instead of 4). Now, I have lost my very best friend, my mother, to a rare blood disorder that brought about Leukemia and lung cancer. Experiences in life certainly have a way of changing your perspective about things.
If you have the time, please stop by and visit the memorials of these 3 very special people in my life.

I must say, I truly admire those volunteers who have adopted and transcribed entire cemeteries & photographers who go the extra mile to fulfill requests.
Transfer requests are welcome for all who are not in my family line.
You may use any family photo that I have taken with credit posted along with the photo so family researchers will have an avenue to connect with each other.

Hi, thanks. No transfer needed. Just saw where he was being buried and I was about to add memorial when I double checked and found yours already posted with no cemetery designated. So thought I'd notify you. Also, please check your edits, I updated the dates according to obit I sent you.

Hi Dianne, I am doing some research for my Grandson who is Farris' grandson also. May I use any picture you have posted to color his story for him. Farris was married to William Austin Tucker, whom I am finding hard to get a whole lot of info on. I would appreciate any thing that you can add to this line...I know Tucker was not blood kin to you, married into the Farris Olga Gibson family...but from my experience sometimes those legs give us more info. Thank you so much for all the wonderful info you have written on Farris' Gibson's blood lines. You have done a lot of research! Thanks and hope you give me permission to use pics, and Thanks for whatever info you can give me! JanD

I see that you are a great granddaughter of Sarah Cummings Hill and that you have also contributed information regarding Joseph and Roseanne Medley Cummings. I have successfully linked my husband's
ancestor as a daughter of Sarah Cummings and have edits pending to link two other daughters , Malissa Sparkman and Lavina Johnson. Do you know of other children of Sarah Cummings and Elijah Hill? Please share if you know. Thanks.
