Hi Julie, I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am presently working on a project to locate the last resting place of many of our C.W. Vets. I see you have two soldiers, with ties to Vt. that you have contributed to their GAG memorial pages. I am asking if you would permit me to use the photo's and post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org) You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
I'm requesting your permission to attach the photo of the headstone for Lee Orlando Miller and his wife to my tree. Orlando Miller is 1st cousin twice removed to my husband. I'll acknowledge you as the person who took the photo. Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave.

Hi, I am researching the Case family and William is the husband of Gertrude/father to Mary E. Wood. Gertrude CASE/Mary E. Wood are on the 1870 census Chickasaw, even though the census does not indicate they are widows Wm. Case died 1868. I believe I have found the proof that the Mary E. Wood, buried here in Franktown Cemetery,Co. next to Gertrude Case IS her daughter, and that she too was a Widow in 1870 that is why she is living with her mother. "Mary E. Wood w/o James Wood" is on her headstone. I am so hoping that someone, hint hint-- could find him laid to rest up there near his father-in-law. Since they seemed to have disappeared about the same time. Thank you so very much... Taylor 47890355

|Gary Granger||Duplicate Graves J. A. McCall|
I am the great-grandson of John Arend McCall of Laporte City, Iowa. All my research indicates that he is buried at the Sawyer (Pleasant Hill) Cemetery where you have photographed his grave marker (Find a Grave #37237161, recorded 2009). All the birth / death dates, locations, spouse, etc coincide with my family tree. I am confused because there is also a Find a Grave photo (#7791126, recorded 2003) for John A. McCall at the Spring Creek Chapel Cemetery. The gravestones appear identical as does the birth / death date information. The Sawyer Cemetery is at Brandon Road and Barnes Ferry Road while the Spring Creek Chapel Cemetery is north of 380 on Wellman Road. Can you clarify this for me?? Is this an incredible coincidence, were graves moved or duplicated?
Thanks for your amazing work photographing all these graves.
