Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my Roots since 1974. My Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Scroggins Huffman told me when I was a child... "Kathy don't forget the ones who came before, if you do, they will be lost." I earnestly try to keep a record of each person's life, in that way they live on in history. The cemeteries of Old Liberty, near Scotland, Van Buren Co., Arkansas, eight generations of my family, Lost Corner, near Cleveland, Conway Co., Arkansas also eight generations, Robertstown, Conway Co., Arkansas, Walnut Grove near Hector, Pope Co., Arkansas, Cedar Creek and Mount Zion on the Pope/Conway Co. Line, Lowes Creek, near Branch, Gage and Crossno, near Etna, Cemetery Ridge, near Webb City, all in Franklin Co., Arkansas, Caulksville, Logan Co., Arkansas, Rock Creek, near Cozahome, Campbell, Scribner, Landis, all in Searcy Co., Arkansas are my family's cemeteries but you'll be able to find me anywhere on this earth creating memorials and leaving flowers for family and friends, Thanks to FindAGrave.

My OBJECTIVE like most of the contributors on FindAGrave is to PRESERVE the HISTORICAL RECORDS of those who came before.

My Home Page "Kathy's Kin" on is updated periodically. Please feel free to use any data from my database that pertains to your family, that's why I post data online, to help folks find their family.
Genealogy is my "Magnificent Obsession".

Bruce Lacy
Hardy Franklin's parentage
I am a 3rd great-grandson of Joseph Franklin and Mahala Griffin through their daughter Mahala Elizabeth Franklin Renegar.I have a family Bible dated 1870 that lists William Carroll Franklin as Joseph and Mahala's 1st child. There is only 13 1/2 months between Dec.19,1819 when Joseph and Mahala married and Feb.5,1821 when William Carroll Franklin was born. There doesn't seem to be enough time to fit Hardy Franklin in.I would like to suggest that Hardy was probably Joseph's younger brother and not his oldest son. William Ledgewood
Nancy Ledgewood Caulk
I see that you left a message on her memorial about her parents. I have found both last names for her, Ledgewood and Ledgerwood. I see that you have her as a Ledgerwood. I was curious where you received your information so I can correct my records. Thanks, Bill Ledgewood

Thomas Reddon Puckett
Kathy I noticed you left a cross on Thomas Reddon Puckett's grave and wanted to inquire if you are related to him. Some of my Puckett relatives moved to Arkansas.

Thanks! and a question
Hi Kathy! Thank you SO much for your information on William Nelson Guinn. It helped me a ton. I know you are probably really busy, but I was wondering about the source for his second wife Mary Nayer. Could you tell me where you found this information? The original link for the grave:

Sharon Montgomery
Wife of Leroy Scroggins
My grand aunt, Mary "Molly" Ann Harvey Gage married Leroy Scroggins, after her first husband, William Henry Gage, was found to have two wives and put into prison at Little Rock. The family story is that during an argument, Leroy hit Mary in the head so hard that she was put into a mental hospital until she died. Her father was William Adam Harvey, mother Nancy Amanda Johnson, brothers William Robert and Charles, and Sarah, her sister. I am still putting pieces together to try to determine for certain who her grandfather is, and am leaning toward William P. Harvey, born around 1815 in Tennessee. He married Martha Fowler and had a William A. Harvey December 1837, while living in Fayette, Fayette County, Alabama. If you run across any info that might verify this is the same as OUR William, I would sure appreciate hearing from you. My tree is Goodrich-Harvey Family on Sharon Montgomery
