RE: Your family information and Shellsburg Iowa
Sheryl,

You are certainly welcome to use any thing I have posted to your collection. David Lambert was my 4th Great Grandfather and his son Samuel remained in North central Indiana when the rest of the family moved on. I hope we can meet sometime in the future.

William L. Van Fossan
I happen to see where you have entered a William L. Van Fossan and his wife in a Scottsville Cemetery in Wayne Co. Illinois. I was reviewing pg 53 of Scott Cemetery, Mt. Erie, Wayne County Illinois [book by Doris E. Bland] and see where in Row 3 William L. Van Fossan and his spouse Eliza Jane Van Fossan are buried there, and have memorials with a photo of stone. Check out your memorials. You may want to either have a merge done of the duplicates by findagrave support people or do edits on the Scott Cemetery memorials to update all your links. Don't forget Eliza Jane's memorial. Sorry to let you know of this error so long ago. Your memorials look so nice. I grew up in Mt. Erie and enjoy updating cemeteries in the area. Buried next to William and Eliza Jane in Row 3 are Frank L. and Freida F. VanFossan.

Find A Grave Photo Request.
Well there's about 100 people who have photo requests for National Memorial Park. I have contacted that cemetery many times and they were only willing to look up the locations of only 20 people for me. However, they gave me a suggestion that if I have the individual requesters call in and then relay the info to me, I can map it on the maps I have and find it. The cemetery is huge. So yes, usually photo requesters don't have to call in, but no one wants to do the photo requests on the cemetery because it's so huge and the list is so long. So that's the situation I'm in. But I do want to help everyone with their photo requests, so I'd thought I'd give everyone the option at least. :)

Find a Grave Photo Requests
As part of my Eagle Scout Project I am fulfilling photo requests around Northern Virginia. I would like to fulfill your photo request for the person you listed for National Memorial Park, but I've already asked them to look up the locations of many people there. If you would be willing to call the cemetery (703-560-4400) and ask for the plot information on your request and relay that information to me today, Wednesday, or Thursday, we will go fulfill your request this Friday.

Thanks,
Joel Galloway

Thank you for transferring the memorial.

I have added the obituary to the bio and the phot has been added.

If you want to delete the photo of the obituary you can do so now that all of it's parts have been incorporated.

I have returned to doing family trees. The last time I did them was in 1997.

I retired 1 1/2 years ago. In February of this year I started to protect myself from virus, bacterias, molds and funguses. Within a week from starting treatment I found that I also had reversed the Alzhiemers I had.(Dementia with a name for it)

By the end of February I had full functions of my brain and was once again seep into Genealogy.

Finding Find A Grave gave e someplace to post all the photos of gravestones I took in Nov 1997.

I already have reached out to a cemetery 2 miles north of where I live and took photos for most of the memorials that are missing stones.

The virtual libraries might be of interest to you and some of your friends. Benton and Linn counties are the focus of my ancestry.
