Please visit my dad John Joseph "JJ" Farley and my mom Arlene Ida Wittenberg and other family members that I have linked together. If the mood strikes, thank you for leaving a flower or token.|
READ THE FAQ'S
Please DO NOT make requests by leaving a message.
Use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to ask for any corrections, updates, or transfers to be made. I need the links the "EDIT" tab provides. Please make sure you're signed in as I need the link to your member page as well.
READ THE FAQ'S
The 6th option on the "EDIT" tab - "Suggest Any Other Addition or Correction" is a free-form e-mail sent to the manager of the memorial (even when they have their e-mail address hidden from public view) and should be used when -
1. you'd like bio info added (or corrected),
2. you'd like to request a transfer,
3. anything that requires an explanation or source info; or if you'd like to contact the member without leaving a public message.
READ THE FAQ'S
The "EDITS" tab on the top part of your profile page is NOT the same as the "EDIT" tab on each memorial page. This is where you will check on the status of most of the edits you request as well as approving or denying most of the edits sent to you.
Please read the FAQ's!(AKA - Help with FAG) There have been many changes to the FAQ's lately, please re-read them. If you can't find an answer or if what you're looking for isn't clear, please come to the Discussion Forums. There are many people there with years of experience on this website and are more than happy to help.
I do not link to memorials that are - "Burial: Unknown Location". Find the grave first, then we add all the other info.
I add these memorials as a tribute to those who have passed as well as allowing friends and relatives who cannot travel to "visit" and pay their respects.
Any information in these memorials that is not listed in the obituary was either provided by another member, was available on the funeral home (listed in the obit) website or taken from SSDI.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who have added their hard work, love and sanity to create these memorials. Without your dogged trekking through brush, nettles, rain, snow, ornery cemetery attendants, dusty historical registers and the like to photograph and record the resting places of those that have gone on before us, we would not have this website.
My heartfelt thanks to bill for sponsoring several of my family's memorials. He is a very kind man with a wicked sense of humor.

Thank you very much for the information on where James Ednie is buried.
|Robert C. Peurifoy||Nathan Peurifoy|
Thank you for taking the time to visit his memorial. It is appreciated. He was a great kid and his loss so sudden and unexpected.
|Robert C. Peurifoy||Pete Mclaughlin|
Burial will be at the Salisbury Annex. There are no new burials at the old cemetery (accept for secondary burials such as spouses). The old Salisbury Cemetery is full.

****FIND A GRAVE will not allow this photo( which I now have set as my profile photo) to be placed in the photo area of memorials. Why? Because Find A Grave feels it is not an image that is personally attached to the deceased.
I as a wife of a Veteran and the grandmother of an active soldier feel the USA FLAG is personally attached to every veteran, after all they fought to defend it and served under this "image" IF that is not a personal attachment to the deceased veteran, then what is folks? So to the veteran's families who I had include this flag of HONOR to their memorial it was NOT removed by me but by Find A Grave. I am truely sorry that we can't show the image of our American Flag, that Veterans proudly served under, at half mask which is a sign of the quality of being thankful, appreciation for and to honor them.
I shot the photo at the Jacksonville National Cemetery as the US Flag is only at half mask Mon -Friday when a Veteran is being laid to rest. No copywrite was broken as I am the owner of photo.

no I didn't get a new computer yet. I'm waiting for black Friday. I know thats crazy but I figured I would get a good deal. For now I'm using my tablet. I found it takes good headstone pics. It doesn't take good people pics lol. I do have a picture app on here but its kind of a lot of work. Its actually faster to just take the picture and crop it. Oh well. Talk to you soon and have a great day :)

You are very welcome ... and you are right. The VAST majority of people on F.A.G. are amazing, but there are always a few who treat it as a competition.
Enjoy your holidays as well. I am nostagic for the days that Christmas decor and sales waited until after Thanksgiving.

I have deleted my memorial for Bertha, and added the photo you yours, as well as sending you edits for her birthdate and the link to her husband. If you would please edit her burial place to Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville (referred to as Sam Houston Memorial in her obit, but Oakwood is the real name) we will be all set.

Hi there, You are very welcome as always. Glad I could help - finally. I'm not exactly sure if I'm "back", but I seem to be getting there. Body willing. hopefully I can stop the "now & then" picture taking and just get on with it.
Hope you've been well.
Have a good one...Glenn
