HI, I have been researching my Genealogy since July of 2000. I really enjoy visting Cemeteries and takeing pictures. Headstones are so awesome, they come in all different shape, sizes, Colors, and the engravings express how someone was feeling at the time this person died. I believe you can some what see what kind of a person was by their headstone. And sometime a headstone is all that is left on this earth. I lived in Wyoming, Michigan |

|B.J. Waters||Harriet Stanley|
Hello! I just fulfilled your photo request, then I noticed that the years are different. I think this location has been associated with the wrong Harriet Stanley. The other Stanleys in the plot (with markers) are Willard and Cornelia. Also, I looked up Harriet Stanley (d. 1949) in the Calif Death Index, and found her with a maiden name of Filer, and that she was born in New York.
I don't know why I was given the location of Sequoia Plot, lot 223, unless by coincidence there are two people with the same name buried in this lot.
I will have to contact the office about this, and I will get back to you. I will remove the headstone photo, and leave the area photo, until I get more information.
Ethelyn's headstone, if there is one, is in an inaccessible area of the cemetery. I did post a photo where it should be (lot 103). The stone shown in the photo is in lot 105.
While I was there, I did photograph all the other Eberting headstones which are just a few yards away.

No I haven't been able to find a date of death for Susan Pratt. She is not with Bill Pratt. Have you seen the Bill Pratt the saw-buck philosopher by John Sheridan,Carroll Zelie and Daniel Perry. It references her death but no date or where she was buried. It's on my to do list with other items when I can. I'll keep you updated and hope you will do the same if you find anything on the family. Thanks for the info you have given me so far.

I accepted your requests for photos at Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan. I found a Cynthia (1865-1940) who is buried next to Elmer. Could she be listed at Oak Hill under a name other than Barhite?

Winter has been hard here, too much snow for photos right now, but there are photos you are seeking at this website:

Ken, thank you so much for the memorial for Ada L. (Warner) Davenport, my cousin. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.
|Mary C. Carpenter||Forbes Carpenter|
I saw your name on the Julia Forbes Carpenter site, with a question about a Leona Carpenter. Are you related to the Forbes Carpenter? She was the mother of my great grandfather, Cass Carpenter. Not much is known about Cass or his family history. I have names due to lots of other people's research, but would really like to learn more from direct relatives. My father's grave is on Find A Grave. You can follow lineage there. His name is Clarence Frank Carpenter.
Thanks!! Mary Carpenter firstname.lastname@example.org
