Please feel free to request transfers. My only interest in being a member of Finding A Grave is to help others locate the final resting places of their loved ones. Many people have helped me in such a way and I appreciated all the work they have done. This is my way of passing their efforts forward.

I do reserve the right to maintain my own family and relatives, but I have transferred to those who are closer related. So request away. We may find we are related.

Also, people have asked many times if they can use the pictures that I have placed on memorials. Yes, anyone may use the pictures for their own personal use. I do not feel ownership for them they are there for family members to enjoy.

RE: Freese burials
I just received Ann's obituary from Alpena and apparently her body was transported to Bay City from Alpena aboard the Arundell. It was accompanied by her three sons Henry S, Hiram, and Wm T. Freese. Thank you so much for your help!!!! Claudia

Anna (Bolton) Freese
Ann died on June 12, 1890 and her body was brought back from Alpena to Bay City, Michigan. Albert Freese was her son. Her sister Alice (Freese) Grover is also buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery so I'm hoping you could verify for me. Thank you so much. Claudia

Albert Freese
Albert Freese is my grand uncle. I see in your photo a stone to right that says "Mother". Do you know if this stone is part of Freese family burials? He was the son of Hiram Freese and Anna (Bolton) Freese. I am trying to locate where they are buried. Hiram (1810-1863) we believe died in Bay City, Michigan. Anna (1816-? bef 1900). I look forward to hearing back from you. Sincerely, Claudia

RE: Kathryn Tackebury Stafford
Kate's mother, Mary Vinette, is sister to George Vinette, my husband's great grandfather. So their parents, Jean Baptiste and Mary, are 2 g grandparents to both of you, making you (I think) 3rd cousins.

4th Michigan Infantry
William Seabury memorial transfer
I wanted to apologize for not thanking you earlier for the transfer of the memorial for William Seabury, a soldier in the Fourth Michigan Infantry, to me. Somehow I overlooked it and wanted you to know that I really appreciated your cooperation. I have just updated his memorial (#70521390) to indicate his military service.

Thanks again,

I have a number of Peabody headstones all in the same area, but you didn't have them listed.

George A 1914 - 2004
Jane C. 1919 - 2006

RE: Merrow picture
Yes, feel free to copy and use the picture. Frank and Sarah were my husbands gg grandparents. Their daughter Emma married his great grandfather Joseph Oren Pittenger in 1889, divorced before 1900. They had two children Mary Frances 1891-1891 (died at 6 months of pneumonia) and Walter 1893-1966. A niece of Joseph Oren's, Harriet Pittenger married Sarah's brother Isaac Oscar in 1888, and they too were divorced around 1900.
