Bio Photo Due to spam issues, removed e-mail from being visible. If you need to contact me and don't have my e-mail, please post on my wall.

Most memorials I add have been verified by viewing the grave, seeing a photo of the headstone (with GPS if GPS was attached to the photo) or by verifying with several independent sources to document cemetery location.

Clarification. The below was added after numerous comments in various groups by people who don't understand U.S. copyright law. I am not a copyright attorney, but have consulted with copyright legal experts and the U.S. Copyright Office on copyright law on copyright issues for other purposes.

The new agreement with Ancestry does not allow people to post photos from this website to Ancestry without first getting permission. Both sites make it very clear the copyright holder retains copyright and you need his/her permission to use any photo. Under U.S. copyright law, photos taken after 1977 are covered by copyright without the need to register it, use the (c), circled c, copyright, or any other notice. Using someone else's photo with citation is not a substitution for needing permission.

I personally photographed over 95% of the photos I have uploaded, and have permission from the copyright holders for the remaining ones. Some of them have asked me to not to list their names after they were hassled by some people because they would not allow the photos to be used on other sites, especially paid sites like Ancestry.com.

If you wish to use any of the photos on other websites (including Family Search, Ancestry.com and any of its affiliates, etc.), contact me and I will let you know if the photo can be used.

If a photo request asked for permission to be used elsewhere and I filled it, the original requester or his/her heirs has permission to use the photo(s) in line with what was listed in their photo request.

I will consider OOG (out of guideline) transfers on an individual basis as long as the memorial isn't for a person related to me, but please state the nature of the relationship (family, close friend, etc.). I don't do bulk transfers. I reserve the right to not transfer OOG in certain situations.

I always do a detailed multi-stage search before, and immediately after, adding a new Memorial to avoid creating a duplicate Memorial. However, on rare occasions, an existing name doesn't show up in a search. If that happens, please let me know and I will remove the duplicate Memorial I added. However, if I added the Memorial first, mine is not the duplicate.

Part of this approach includes making sure they are added to the correct cemetery. This includes comparing cemetery records when available to other records, checking obits and death certificates, looking at photos that were taken with GPS-enabled devices, etc. Again, sometimes the research doesn't indicate when a person has been moved from Cemetery A to Cemetery B, or that Cemetery A was later acquired by Cemetery B. I won't add someone based solely on obit or death certificate information as the information may be incorrect.

Update 2: With the new SAC/Edit system, we won't be seeing as many e-mails, but I do check e-mail because some will still come through e-mail and I check the Edits tab on a regular basis.

I try to get to SAC/Edit requests as soon as I see them. If I haven't gotten to your request within a week, please feel free to post a message on my wall with the ID of the Memorial. I check my Spam folder on a regular basis, but I get enough e-mail that a request can occasionally fall through the cracks. The nature of the Edit/SAC will determine how I handle it.

Looking for a variety of names spread mostly across the eastern half of the U.S.

Honoring the memory of my Dad who was in the Air Force, my brother who served in the Marines and Army, and for the many relatives who have served in the military over the years.

Updated 08 May 2014, still alive and kicking.

RE: Mathew Decker
That's the last I know of her also. She cared for her uncle (a Civil War vet) who died at Wadsworth in November 1942. After her uncle's death, she MAY have married a man named William J Beck and last address I have for them both is 2608 Independence Ave, Kansas City, MO.

Thank you so much for making the effort to find this grave site. I am shocked that there is no marker. The mystery continues....Have been looking for his wife, Myrtle Decker, and was hoping to see her name on an inscription. Again, thank you for your time!

This is regarding "Stonewall" on the memorial. I am from the community of Woolmarket, grew up there and "Stonewall" is located in the Lorraine Community, Harrison County, Mississippi. Stonewall was actually the name of the post office located right on the Big Biloxi River at the Rishard(s) mercantil Store. It never was listed on a map, because Lorraine is the actual community, west of the Big Biloxi River across the river from the Woolmarket Community. Most pf tje Richards family settled on Lorraine Community. Ellen Richard(s) middle name came from her Grandmother who was Felicity Ladner Stiglets.

I have been researching the old pioneer family in the area, because I am from there and I am related to many of these groups. If you will go to Stiglets Cemetery in Harrison County, Mississippi, you will find Felicity Ladner Stiglets and her husband and son in that cemetery.

If you have any questions that I can help you with contact me.

There is a lot of vandalism done to that cemetery as the township isn't taking care of the property appropriately.

Big favor
You seem to have amazing resources, and I was wondering if you might able to help complete the last piece of the puzzle in this branch of the Baulch family. It's really bugging me.

Ernest Langley Baulch had a sister Erie. She never married, and I can follow her throughout her career as a stenographer and secretary, and I see the following in the KY Death Index:

Name: Erie Baulch
Death Date: 23 Aug 1977
Death Place: Boone
Age: 77
Residence: Kenton

Do by any chance have the means of finding an obit or where she's buried? It looks like her SS checks were being sent to Golden, CO which is where her nephew DeeWitt lived.

She is the last one in this branch who needs a memorial on FindaGrave. Any help sincerely appreciated.

Thanks much for the transfer and additional finds. Yes, they're a branch of my family, and I'll take good care of them. :)

Thank you so much for discovering his proper place of burial. I have made the necessary update. I do not have his obituary and would love a copy, please. Thank you again.
